Righteous Squid Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 This is a flamethrowing flying machine for Firefly. I have also updated my custom version of the Gotham villain. Quote
Big Cam Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Very cool. I have to ask what head is that you used in the first picture? I love the orange vehicle, I don't think I have more than 2 orange pieces. What is the giant orange sphere at the bottom of batmans ship? I thought it was the death star piece from the new playset but it's not, I think they are very cool pieces. Quote
badboytje88 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Very cool. I have to ask what head is that you used in the first picture? I believe it's this minifig head: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb064 It's from Avatar's firebender Lovely vehicle. I am jealous of your amount of orange brick! Quote
CommanderFox Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Really nice job with this Righteous Squid Firefly looks really nice! I really like his ship. Well done with it! CommanderFox Quote
Batbrick Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Hooray! Another great creation from Righteous Squid! Love you version of Firefly, the orange "heat suit" is inspired and makes me wish I though of it, and the face is absolute perfection! Not sure about the black helmet though, I think he would work better with a grey one, or perhaps not at all? Still fantastic, here's my version for comparison (in your favour I might add): (third across obviously) The Firefly vehicle is a fantastically fun contraption! I really love the contrasts between our Batcreations Righteous Squid, as mine tends to be slightly more down-to-earth while yours embraces the marvelous fun of classic super heroics, epitomised for me by your Mr Freeze Snowmaker vehicle. The orange and black colour scheme really works, and the use of that yellow bubble canopy at the back is quite inspired and really fits in with the "firefly" theme. The flamethrowers on the wings are neatly made too, I really think you should attach a stream of flames (you know how they connect right?) to them and snap a pic! The "legs" on the bottom are another neat little function too, do they also work as landing gear? Batbrick Away! Quote
Legostein Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Hello again! It seems you've been busy building! That's another great creation, and I am particularly fond of the colour orange. It works excellenty with black as you have shown here. With much greebling used it really looks like a complicated flying machine. Well done! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
