YG-49 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Hmm... I seem to have become quite obsessed with cannibals lately, haven't I? (Also, this was my first try with Brasso - His torso before was a Snowtrooper's) Anyways, here is my Hannibal Lecter: Just, before we start, I want to show you what he looked like before the paint job and trolley: And after: Here we see Hannibal on his trolley, and a Special Officer assigned to wheeling him. (Note key) Hannibal by himself: The straps holding him in are rubber bands.. Back view: A single view of the Special Officer: Didn't want anything special for him.. Hannibal without the trolley: I know the Straitjacket (Yes, that's a STRAITJACKET) should have white hands, but I think it looks good this way. Face/Mask View: (I might make this my avatar. Yay or Nay?) "Yum yum!" Hannibal got hungry... Thanks for viewing! Quote
badboytje88 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Whahaha Hannibal got hungry and ate off the guys face! It's a very very nice fig, I don't believe you brasso'd a snowtroopers torso! There are so many inexpencive white torso's you could brasso, and you brasso'd a snowtrooper.... Quote
The Penguin Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 (edited) Nice work here, Yg! ) I really like the whole idea and the way you've done him. Actually I find the idea of making such a patient a very unusual one. I really like the way you've done the mask. May I borrow it? ) My recommendation will be to work carefully with the lines and take care of the right eye, get rid of those paint drops (or whatever it is.) Overall great idea and nicely done! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Edited December 4, 2009 by The Penguin Quote

Of course you can. My recommendation will be to work carefully with the lines and take care of the right eye, get rid of those paint drops (or whatever it is.)Tried, failed. Will try again soon. Tried, failed. Will try again soon. I'm pleased, but I wouldn't want you to think that I'm something special. ) I'm just like any other member here, on EB. ) There are dozens of talented members around and I'm sure that each and every one of them is talented in some specific LEGO activity, be it MOCing, MODing or vigs-making..... Because people who spend much time with LEGO are a priory is a gifred one. ) I think I'll try and make some similar inmate, and then I may switch to some partucular character. ) BTW, I've just remembered That I've already done soimething similar: But it never occured to me to make a mask for the inmate! ) Thanks for the idea! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Quote
Big Cam Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 My only complaint are that the bars over his mouth are really crooked. Otherwise it's a great interpretation of him, nicely done Quote
Ronan Dragonov Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Ah, my old therapist Dr. Lecter... "As your mother tells you, and my mother certainly told me, it is important, she always used to say, always to try new things." - Hannibal Quote
Dutch Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Very Good wee-gee and the man he's eating can only be the one the only clone and droid hunter striker. Quote
CommanderFox Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 (edited) Nice job YG-49 with him! Though Im heart broken you used a snowtroopers torsoe!? Anything but that imo, snowtroopers are expensive. I like the straight jacket and the mouth part is nice. Well done! CommanderFox Edited December 5, 2009 by CommanderFox Quote
Forresto Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Hannibal Lecter: A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti Sorry that was my mom's favorite movie. Pretty good job on it overall, although it is a little bit sloppy. My favorite part of it is the torso which is really well done. but a Snowtrooper's torso. . . Quote
YG-49 Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 I've long since updated my Hannibal, so here is the new version! The main update is of course, the addition of the nose covering on his mask. I have also come up with a new face, without the mask. I think it captures Hannibal's expression nicely. Please note this is only a stand-in until I get the Hoth Rebel Battlepack. A comparison between the two: Here is a new costume! A white prison uniform. Of course it's impossible to do an inmate number on LEGO, so I simply put his intials. Another new costume! An orange prison uniform. (He has been seen wearing in both.) For a few people interested, some small photos of the old Hannibal wearing the new costumes, and the new Hannibal wearing the old costume: And, as a bonus, Agent Clarice Starling! (Sorry for the crappy costume, I didn't have many casual civilian torsos) Hannibal Lecter: Why do you think he removes their skins, Agent Starling? [sarcastically] Hannibal Lecter: Enthrall me with your acumen. Clarice Starling: It excites him. Most serial killers keep some sort of trophies from their victims. Hannibal Lecter: I didn't. Clarice Starling: No. No, you ate yours. Quote
streifen Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 The orange prison uniform is great. u can do an MOC of those bad guys in Con-Air!! Quote
L-space Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Interesting idea. Just one note: a straight jacket opens and closes at the back so the inmate/ patient can't reach the buttons. Quote
YG-49 Posted December 17, 2009 Author Posted December 17, 2009 (edited) I'm very proud to present my Mason Verger! Wheelchair idea by Etzel, I slightly modified the design. Also, the guy that wheels him, Cordell, is coming soon. First, a reference pic: (Is a pic that.... Disturbing... Allowed here?) The actual fig: You can see a bit of Blu-Tac here, that's because the legs kept falling off. A front view: Face detail: Please note the mark under his mouth is his chin, not a beard. I really wanted to emphasize how big his chin is, and I think it worked.) Back: Thanks! (Also, could a mod change the title to Hannibal Lecter figs please?) Edited December 17, 2009 by YG-49 Quote
YG-49 Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 I'm gonna keep posting my stuff here, even if it is just for me! The poster for Hannibal: Quote
