Dreamweb Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 ...as simple as that More: Brickshelf MOCpages The funny thing is - I built it over a year ago, took photos and dismantled for parts shortly after, without bothering to upload. I came across the pictures on my hard drive recently, so I've finally made it public... Quote
Tereglith Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 She.... she has a monkey foot.... eeeeurgh... I really wouldn't have used an arm for that. It's really creepy. Other than that, I like your method for making a bath, I'd like to see it in white. And the towel is a nice touch. Quote
prateek Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I really wouldn't have used an arm for that. It's really creepy. I agree, you should've just used a regular leg. It looks like there is a creeper in the tub Great scene other than that though Quote
brickzone Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Nice use of the wheel arches - but I have to agree, that third arm is rather disturbing. It's like some kind of claw instead of a foot! Quote
Milan Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Wow, that is her leg!? I thought that was somebody else with her in the tub Except that, very nice! Quote
chump Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I didn't like that hair and that minifig head each on their own, but the combination of the two oddly enough, works for me. Good choice! Quote
Davey Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 See...I am going to assume the arm is another person in the tub...being drowned. It's a happy scene. Nice work! -Dave Quote
phillip10 Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I thought that arm was freddy kruger for a minute! Great moc though! Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 That's pretty good. I like how you rounded the tub. "monkey foot" that's funny. Quote
Tom Bricks Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Ya that arm is really creeping me out now. The bathtub looks great but the arm is at such an unnatural angle and I have a hard time seeing it as a leg. Quote
Dreamweb Posted December 1, 2009 Author Posted December 1, 2009 Thanks for the comments. I liked this arm as a leg, an actual leg would look too blocky for me in that particular scene. The "third hand" is supposed to represent a foot that is bent in a fashion like this: I agree it might look a little monkey-like, but it's all just a matter of personal preference I guess. Quote
The Green Brick Giant Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I don't know what face that is but it's so simple and so perfect for the scene. Quote
Rick Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Great work on the bathtub (wheel arches, flower decoration). I have to agree on the arm. Quote
BlueBard Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Now I understand the meaning of that arm there (I must confess at first I thought it was a guy under the water ) I must say nice job! Quote
badboytje88 Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I think turning the hand on the leg would make a great difference. If you turn it 90 degrees you can't see the hole in the hand. Quote
Dreamweb Posted December 2, 2009 Author Posted December 2, 2009 I don't know what face that is but it's so simple and so perfect for the scene. It's the face of the female pirate from classic Pirates - back in 1989, the first specifically female face in the history of Lego if I'm not mistaken. Thanks for the comments! Quote
