Badsneaker Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Here is the red and white Cafe Corner I did recently. It was intended to be a pizza shop, but as it got going it looked better as a Christmas style toy shop. Its definitely a bright, stand out building. I stole a few designs from the Winter Toy shop for the toys on the 1st floor. As always, comment and feedback appreciated! Quote
BlueBard Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Great job! Always a pleasure to see a MOV of our beloved CC I like the colour scheme (it's true that, at first, it makes you think on a pizzeria ) and your proposition for the interior with those tiled floors Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Love this great toy shop and appartment above it. I too love the flooring you have done, as well as the kitchen appliances, fanastic. Great work, 'Bedsneaker' ! Quote
streifen Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 When i saw the exterior, i thought i can taste the candy-cane. Quote

Zorbas Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Great work Badsneaker! All the details are superb and I really like the way you've used the red and white. It looks smooth and balanced and none of these two colours "cover" one another. The interior is also great! The refrigerator is fantastic! Btw, I think that this building should be named EC. It looks more than a Elves' Corner to me. Excellent creation again! Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 A very BOLD choice of colors The design is great. The building is very beautiful. This easily would have to qualify as the most Christmas-y building on Earth (and as such should come with a warning that staring at it for too long may cause blindness! Quote
WhiteFang Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Badsneaker, I love this Christmas Corner of yours and it's defintely one of the best modular buildings which you have created so far. This modular corner building has a very strong color schema that illustrate the mood of christmas shopping in the town area. If I was the minifig, I will step inside and do my fair share of shopping as well. This has been featured in Classic-Town.net. Quote
Badsneaker Posted December 1, 2009 Author Posted December 1, 2009 Thanks for everyones comments!! I appreciate the feedback! Quote
Ezechielle Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I think it fits better for a pizzaria (I especially like the fridge) Quote
Jameson42 Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Lovely work! Though I'd love to see a Christmas tree where that owl is. Quote
Jasper Joppe Geers Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Looking at this building i wonder how the rest of the street would look like! Great job! Cheers, JJ. Quote
Badsneaker Posted December 1, 2009 Author Posted December 1, 2009 Pictured in my street layout: Good idea with the Christmas tree in the arch. Quote
Legostein Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Hello! That's a great addition to your street. It certainly looks very good! My favourite detail is the sun umbrella. It's a great example for the perfect alternate piece use as it fits so lovely in your house front. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
lgorlando Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Well...I gotta say, that's pretty darn good! It reminds me of those all year long Christmas outlets that sell every thing Christmas... I hope you keep this around for some years for display during the holidays. Quote
prateek Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Another great CC variant by Badsneaker! Hats off to you my friend for creating his awesome building. I love the red, green, and white umbrella piece over the door. I must say though that the red is really bright and kinda overwhelming. Quote
