Milan Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Hello, here is my construction machinery model of well known manufacturer JCB, the 1110T Robot Skid Steer Loader. These machines are used on construction sites as a small, quick and extremely maneuver vehicles. they come in two versions, with tires and with tracks, I have chose the latter one, just to see how these newly purchased tracks are behaving on a vehicle! The model has, again, SNOT body, with bucket made from bricks, and those cool chain links. The loader arm can move up and down, and bucket can tilt up and down, to load the dirt from the ground and to dupm in a truck. It was pretty tricky to build it, because it is a very tiny, again I have used PDF from JCB to ensure model is well proportioned. Oh and this is my first minifig scale model that has sticker with JCB logo... I like it so much that I will build bigger one, motorized! Real machine: My Lego Model: What do you think? Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Great build, I love these construction vehicles you come up with 'Milan'. Pretty close to the original machine, I might try one of these myself, but I don't think I can come close to yours. Fantastic !!! Quote
Milan Posted November 24, 2009 Author Posted November 24, 2009 Thanks, lightningtiger! I will try to build more construction vehicles in minifig scale. Next one is a mini JCB excavator. I would like to build a caravan trailer, too. Quote
MetroiD Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I'm also a huge fan of your minifig-scale MOCs! The SNOT body works absolutely perfectly here :] Quote
Ras 74 Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 As a kid I loved trucks and excavators and such things to my city. The once LEGO did, or that I tryed to build couldn´t come close to where you can get today. The main thing for this is ofcourse many bricks you used in this one for instance, was not invented then. This is a really great model of the original one. Very good creation you did again Milan!! Quote
Badsneaker Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Wow, looks totally like the original! Do you have any nets? Maybe you could fit some in the side windows? Looks awesome!! Quote
Legostein Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Hello! What really amazes me here is that it does not use any single big prefabricated part. You built a great looking digger bucket with bricks! Excellent! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
CommanderFox Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 (edited) Fantastic MOC Milan! Very nicely captured! I really like the treads. Also the bucket is Perfect! It looks really nice being brick built and not one piece. Great job with it! CommanderFox Edited November 30, 2009 by CommanderFox Quote
