Ingmar Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 (edited) Broadcast some days ago on the french TV news, I present you this interesting but quick report about the technic used by the conceptors of the assembly line for the A380. The last aircraft of Airbus company is the most imponent plane ever built, and for his mass-production, new and great building sites had to be constructed and in order to project themselves into the universe of the factory and the space of the machines, the designers worked on a 1/50 model of the assembly line, that is to say on the minifig scale. But this is not a game or an accessory ; the model was useful for the distribution of the surface and for the spacial projection. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xb85mb_qu...-france-jo_tech The subject is quite surprising for this TV show that has one the worst quality, but that is the most popular for this market. And of course, the model is beautyful, the tallest I have ever seen, and also very nice with the quantity of engines that makes it amazingly realistic and serious. I hope you feel the same surprise than mine Edited November 22, 2009 by Ingmar Quote

Zorro Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 There is absolutely NO pornography in this link, please do check it first before making such false statements! If you can't check it out decently due to too heavy security browser settings just leave it up to the staff to determine if this is so or not. The video is about aeronautic engineers using LEGO for testing purposes! Quote
Ingmar Posted November 22, 2009 Author Posted November 22, 2009 Oh no, I'm really sorry, I have no problem for watching the video, what a noob I don't understand what happens... Well, I just have to delete the thread if it doesn't work and everyone says the same thing, sorry. Quote
Hinckley Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Use Youtube. Dailymotion has no site guidelines for adult content, so some browser controls block it... Quote
