Dennimator Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 (edited) Yeh, I recently found my old half-finished BrickFilm from early this year. With the right speed I found out it didn´t look too shabby, and after a while of picture-editing I uploaded the vid on YouTube. Please tell me what you think of it, I really need constructive criticism. Here´s the vid: Edited November 21, 2009 by Dennimator Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Well, for a first stop-motion it's certainly not bad Next time you should try to keep the camera more 'in balance' (it moves a bit) and try to keep the same light in the background (it's changing all the time). For the rest it's a good (and funny) movie. I like the way he puts his cape on and how they fight, good work on that Quote
Inconspicuous Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 The techniques you've used are brilliant like the lightning and the lightsabers starting up, but the filming is the part that needs work. The camera moves up and down a whole bunch. If you're not used a tripod of some sort- use one! If you are- try to keep it more steady. I think if you nail that, you'll become an amazing Brickflicker! Well, as I´m using my Sony Ericsson cellphone as a camera, I´ve built a custom holder for it out of lego. It´s holding the cellphone pretty well, but if you hold the camera while taking the pics, it might move a little, which is what happened. Now that I know I mustn´t hold it after I click, it probably won´t shake as much in my upcoming movies. Quote
