dugmence Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 (edited) Hello, my name is Dusko, I'm 23 years old, and I live in Serbia. I've got my first Lego bricks when I was 4 years old. Since then love toward Lego was growing...In my country Lego was and still is really really expensive. Every set costs 50% more than in EU countries. We have small but growing Lego community on this forum. We are planing registration of a club, but we have some administrative problems, which we hope will be solved in coming weeks... I know our forum is in Serbian, but you are all welcome to visit and start some topic in English, because most of us are speaking it. I hope we'll have a great time in following years... Btw. here are some of my reviews: 6253 - shipwreck hideout 7747 - wind turbine transport Edited November 19, 2009 by dugmence Quote

dugmence Posted November 20, 2009 Author Posted November 20, 2009 i have a question: may i write an review of a set which already have one? i was looking if there is rule that forbids this, but couldn't find it...i think every review is different, because every person have his/her own opinion about same set... I can tell you this certainly is NOT against the rules. I think they encourage it, in fact all of my reviews are duplicates, I just try to raise the bar in my review. If you really want to get into reviewing, you should look into the reviewers academy (link in my sig). We help members churn out spectacular reviews. Quote

Captain Green Hair Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Welcome to Eurobricks Dusko! I wonder why sets in Serbia are 50% more expensive, the factory in the Czech republic is pretty close one would think. Do you get your sets cheaper off the internet, or are your customs a pain in the megablocks as well? Quote

Do you get your sets cheaper off the internet, or are your customs a pain in the megablocks as well? sets in Serbia are 50% more expensive because we have monopoly of 2 or 3 importers...and country want some taxes too... I'm buying sets on a sales or if i go somewhere abroad...we don't have paypal system yet, so i can't buy sets off the internet, well i can with iban, but iban is expensive... my friend bought all 4 Modular Houses sets off the internet, payed transport and iban expenses, and in the end country made him pay 20500rsd for taxes (more than 200€, 1€=94rsd) i'm buying only Lego sets, don't want to spend money on imitations... Captain Green Hair did not mean pain in the megablocks, mi bismo rekli trn u Dupetu... Sets are really expensive, 95% of my bricks comes from Bricklink, I paid via cash, or paypal from a friend outside the country. Customs is generally tolerating my lego packages, but once I got a paper from them, which says I have to pay 55 euros to pick up lego package... luckily, only once! Quote
