Ryan_T Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 This isn't FROM any Indy movies, But It fits the theme. I used my little cousins LEGO. (What? 5 year old who has almost every single Indiana Jones set? He absolutely LOVES Mario and Indiana Jones!) Hope you like it. Would love to hear any criticism for it, Cant change it though. As my cousin probably grabbed it off the shelf and tore it apart already. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Wow, that's a very good looking stall. It doesn't really look right for the Cairo marketplace due to all the jungle-y bits, but it still fits nicely in the Indy world. Your tilted baskets look very nice, as does the fig, and the whole thing overall. It looks very wooden and woodsy to me, and would be great in some kind of jungle marketplace. One suggestion I have would be to add a stand under the figure so he can see a bit better over his wares. Also, I think your choice of what he is selling is just a tad odd, since right now he sells both food and weapons, unless that's what you wanted. Finding hinge bricks that aren't red would also fit the color scheme better. But those are all trivial little things. Overall, I think your market stall is stunning! Quote

He's an All-purpose seller! :P Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Nice. I like the crates or shelves on the stand. Quote
Rick Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Looking really good, especially the crates. But where's the action feature or ambush? Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 May I suggest put the crates lower? I think they are too high... They hide the salesman! And why he sell just one ore? Quote
Batbrick Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 That's great! I love the very surreal but still Indy-ish nature of it, and the different compartments for the items is great. I love the roof too, it is very simple but gives the whole thing a nice boarded design. One improvement is for the salesmen to have a platform or for the rest to be lower, but honestly I love the novelty factor of him barely being able to reach the counter, let alone reach across it! Batbrick Away! Quote
Ryan_T Posted November 19, 2009 Author Posted November 19, 2009 Looking really good, especially the crates. But where's the action feature or ambush? [sarcasm] The option to Blow up the stand is in the next series. Durr! [/sarcasm] I think they are too high... They hide the salesman! And why he sell just one ore? Well Lord, He's Short.. >.> Because one unlucky fellow just bought the other for his rowboat, Seemed like he had an encounter with a Alligator.. Hmm.. Wonder what that meant.. One improvement is for the salesmen to have a platform or for the rest to be lower, but honestly I love the novelty factor of him barely being able to reach the counter, let alone reach across it! ^^^^ Well Lord, He's Short.. >.> Quote
Big Cam Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I like it, I agree that the leaves and vines don't fit the cairo theme but it definetaly looks like an Indy set. I like the titled boxes and the nice roof. Quote
Legostein Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Hello! This looks like the perfect oriental market stand, and it would easily fit in any Indiana Jones movie. The only thing I am missing are some oriental scimitar swords. At least one below the counter for the shop keeper. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
prateek Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 (edited) Awesome stall! I love the roof, and I like how the crates turned out Edited November 20, 2009 by prateek Quote
