brciktw Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Here I present the General's Garden. This vignette is at Ching Dynasty, AD 1644~1917, more detail can be found here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ching_Dynasty. In that time, any Noble or Generals always have their own garden in their backyard. The typical garden will embrace small pool, stone bridge, gallery connected to the house, trees, bushes, stone pathway, and of course octogonal pavilion, the heart of the garden, which master enjoy to take in everything at a glance. The garden can be considered as the important element in the sino-architecture (sino means chinese). Quote

Batbrick Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Fantastic design brciktw! I love the design of the roofs, and the sideways small pool alongside the little garden features really works. I also love the way you've positioned the figs as it gives the moc atmosphere Batbrick Away! Quote
