lightningtiger Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 About 6 months ago I started designing a new police station for my country town, based on the City Corner style. 16 wide 2 storey station and high speed patrol car. Down stairs - reception/enquiry desk. Up stairs - where normally the police chief sits infront of the jail cell chatting to latest crook behind bars. High Speed Patrol Car - to keep up with the latest sports cars. Please comment if you wish. Quote
Milan Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Hey, I like this little Police Station! Hi-speed car is excellent! Better place and one Police chief, otherwise officer in the downstairs could spent his time on facebook or something, instead working. Maybe a motorcycle can join the patrolling fleet? Quote
Big Cam Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Very nice, I love the small country feel, of just one officer at just one desk. I have to ask about the bulletin board behind your fig, where on earth did you get that, or did you make it? It's sweet! Quote

It's sweet! Thanks for the positive feedback. The sticker you are enquiring about, Big Cam, is from the 2007 giant police station sticker sheet. I guess a motor cycle would fit the picture too, Milan , I could have a Solo One (a cop show about a country motorbike cop of course living in a country town, back in the 1970's after another Aussie country cop show Matlock finished in Australia). wooootles Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 7641 must be something of a growing legend - I see quite a few classic-styled MOCs based on 7641! My suggestion - can you utilize another baseplate to make it a one-story building? Being in a rural area, I'm sure they have acres upon acres of land, thus no need of a two-story building. Quote

I must explain what I was trying to do, I took on the task of designing a police station that would fit along side the 7641 pizza bar and be also based on plus using parts from the 7744 police station. Most of my MOC buildings will be City Corner style, except what you have seen with the likes of my service station, hardware store and in future those where vehicles play an important part e.g. Tyre Dealership or Car Dealership. Legostein Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Hello! It's great to see the old classic style coffee machine design back in use. I loved this detail a lot when I was younger. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
