eversio11 Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Hey all, Last week while I was browsing US SaH I noticed the Eiffel Tower (10181) was on sale for $149. With free shipping on top of that, I figured it was a pretty good deal and snagged one up. Not to mention the largest piece count set I've ever owned before this was the Creator House. Checking SaH's site again today, it seems they've pulled the Eiffel Tower sale page down; I can't find any record of it. Considering the last topic about this set was over 2 years ago, I'm curious if anyone has any information on the future of it. Quote
Badsneaker Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 I ordered one a few weeks just for the parts. The rep at LEGO SAH U.S. said they would have them for a while, but I guess not. Quote
Big Cam Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Like all LEGO sets, it's run it course. 2 years is a long time for a LEGO set, they are likely discontinueing it like all other LEGO sets. Quote
prateek Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 As Big Cam said, it's already been a really long time since it came out so it's about time. Quote
Torax Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Perhaps. But that's what TLC do, they need space for newer sets. Maybe there will be more famous buildings released by LEGO. It would be wonderful if they never stopped selling the sets, though. Imagine still being able to pick up classic Castle sets. Quote
The Cobra Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 "Hard to find", but "Available now" on S@H for Italy. Still at full price, 240 Euros. And still around in local toy shops., for even more Euros. Quote
