Here is my MOC of a Mobile Command Center which I got the idea of from "5150 Lego"s version

Okay, interesting MOC and a nice try too.

It's a bit blocky, the beds don't seem long enough, any equipment storage ?

A weapons rack would be interesting inside with guns, riot gear and some search & rescue tools.

Eight wide may have trouble going along road plates. The truck is nice, but a bit too low profile. A large modified cab-over maybe more fitting to this 8 wide trailier.

Sorry, if it seems I have picking your MOC to pieces, but I thought a thought a few good comments were required.

Good idea the expandable scanning/commucations area.

Very good.

Thanks for the comments, critisism is welcome. It helps me improve my models

The truck does have an equipment store. If you have a look at the 6th pic, the equipment store is at the far right also the beds seem to fit the minifigs quite well. I agree about it being a bit blocky but that was because I was running out of white peices and the fact that it was built at about 1am in the morning.

Being 8 wide is not a problem because most of the time it has a quad driving in front of it to clear the road.

The reason I don't have a weapons area is because all of my police vehicles have weapons and if there is any serious violence the SWAT team move in. They are armed with snipers, rocket launchers and machine guns.

I don't think blockiness is a issue her...

My main weak spot here is the lack of the details in the trailer, It looks like a big transporting trailer, rather than highly functional police command center!

I think you should pay lot more attentions to that.

The MOC you are referring as a inspiration is really nice, and you have pretty good base of the model, just add few more details and it will be much better.

I like it so far, keep up!
