willy_poodle Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Hello everybody! I'm from Poland, but I live in UK now. I woke up from my dark ages about 1.5 year ago and started collecting. I haven't created anything yet, but I'm going to start soon, just needed to get enough bricks to start. Finally I can afford it, which was impossible in my homeland, where Lego is much more expensive and average people earn much less. I'm interested mostly in Castle theme, Creator-like buildings and then Vikings, Pirates, Adventurers, Indy and similar. I have a few questions for start: Are there any UK Lego events/fairs to go? BearHeart Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Hi There, I'm originally from Poland too and I was in a similar situation as yourself. My parents couldn't afford to buy me a lot of LEGO when I was young but now I have the money myself to spend on this hobby. I came out of my 10 year dark age in 2006. I'm also into Castle (and other themes, as you can tell from my sig). This is a great site for LEGO news and discussion, hope you enjoy it. Quote
