First, yes this is based on the pizza bar from 7641. It's setup to fit into a street scrape with the pizza bar and my little Zac Cooper department store, which is in the middle.

Second, this is still a WIP, so the loft is still empty at the moment.

Third, the safe is from an Agents 2.0 set.

Okay, now here's some images of it so far.

The front of the bank, yes they are the stickers from the harvester.

Why, you may ask ?

Here in Australia some of the major rural traders, like Elders, have rural banks. So I have a country town, so I have a rural bank.

Now for the rear view, ground floor has the safe and teller counter. While upstairs is the bank manager's office complete with black leather chair and a rotating computer screen so he or she can show a customer if they are in the black or the red.

Oh, yes the bank is closed at the moment so no staff or customers.

Please feel free to comment or make sudgestions.

It´s a nice MOD of the set, but I don´t really think that red is a very good colour for a bank. Maybe you should replace the red parts with another colour, like green for example.

It´s a nice idea though, I like how you get that detain in the small rooms without it looking very cramped. :classic:

Thank you for that comment. I'm going to see if I have enough green wall elements and of course bricks and go green. I agree that green would be the way to.

Also on the camera front, I might try design a small but realistic one see how I go.

Thanks again.

nice effort on your MOC.

adding an ATM maybe can enhance the bank image.

and 1490 LEGO bank also has red color, so the color scheme is ok for me.

Nice and simple, I quite like it, the use of the Agents vault and details on the desks inside is great. I'm not sure that red is a great colour though, I think it could work in smaller amounts mixed in with a just dominant grey, which is pretty similar to most banks I've seen.

Thank you, Mariko, Milan, Djo and Batbrick for all your comments.

I have now fitted a security camera like the one in Mariko's post office. Handy to already have a 1x1 headlight brick inline with the teller counter, I only needed to reverse it and I might do the same to the pizza bar when I start adding a decor that was missing from 7641.

Also I might try going green with the bank and posting the images of both to see what the reaction to the colour change might be. That will be later in the week though, I must start working on the pizza bar, a car/truck/tractor tyre dealership and also a city corner style police station.

I agree on the colour change but other than that great MOD!

Good idea and nice to see someone try

I think there could be various improvements. Such as a color scheme change to maybe blue, or brown. Also maybe take out the middle level and just have it be 1 level then the roof to avoid similarity to the Pizza Restaurant. Perhaps even try to print your own Bank decals on clear avery print sheets. :classic:

Great idea, I pull the loft out of both the bank and pizza bar. The bank managers office can have a high lofty ceiling and my pizza bar, well I'll post that later. I might generate some posters to go inside the bank, well I give it a try anyway. Thanks for your comments everyone so far.

That's a totally awesome MOC, lightningtiger! :oh:

I really  it!

It looks very realistic, includes a lot of details and looks like an official set! :oh:

The most I like the great interior you added to it.

If TLG released this as an official set I immediately would buy it since it would be a perfect and very well fitting addition to 7641  - we really need a bank for Lego City!

Very, very well done!

Btw: Welcome to EB, lightningtiger! :classic:

Yes, ripping that 16x6 plate out works. Just a pair of red 2x1 inv. slopes and a round 2x2 clock tile and it's done, I be getting those pieces today and I'll post pictures of the changes a.s.a.p., but I have kept the same red colour for the moment, sorry those who like to see it in green.

Here it is !

My MOC bank is done.

A customer depositing money, Patrick is saving his money for a turbo charged jellyfishing net.

The bank manager is shocked to find out a humble Clone trouper makes more money than he does.

Let me know what you all think now, thanks.

THe bank looks great, I think a bank can be any color you want. I love the transactions being made with Patrick. Do you have this set up next to anything now?

Once I have finished touching up the department store and making the pizza bar look more like a pizza bar then I can line everything up as a street scape. Thank you for your comments.
