CommanderFox Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Well as you now, I have been making afew MOCs from my 10195. Here's my latest, A Podracer, which Commander Fox happens to be driving ...don't know how that happened. The energy-plasma inbetween the engines is white as I don't have any trans-clear pink pieces. Also I had to do 2 rows of it because the engines would twist around and it got annoying. Hopefully the pics aren't to bad, if they are, Im very sorry and I am doing my best. Thanks I hope you like it and C and C is always Welcome! CommanderFox Quote
RepublicForces Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 the 10195... Anyway, it's kinda nice, BUT you putted the cabbels wrong! and there is only a lightning connection between the engines Quote
RileyC Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Very nice. I like the colour scheme especially the dark tan bits in between the red blue and white. I think that to make it better you should just have one lightning connection, it will make it more authentic and look better but if you are playing with it then keep it like that great job i voted above average Quote

This is my first time at making a Pod so do bear in mind Im not great with adding lighting-don't really know how. Maybe someone could make a tutorial for people like me. How should the cables go? Thanks CommanderFox Very nice. I like the colour scheme especially the dark tan bits in between the red blue and white. Yes if someone where to show me how to do a lightning connection then i would do it, but I don't have photoshop if that is what you need. Sorry. Thanks i like the colour scheme as well. Thanks! I guess you voted below average repubilcFORCES, oh well I will try and make it better. Thanks and keep the comments coming! CommanderFox Quote
Big Cam Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Besides the power cuplinks, I really like this. The white circular pieces really take away from the MOC, if you could figure something out for those it's be a 10. Good work. Quote
The Crazy One Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I like it. Nice design aswell. I won't mention the obvious problem though. Above average for me. Quote
Rook Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Need to work on resizing those JUMBO pictures. Quote
starwarsfanatic Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I went for above average. This podracer has everything a podracer would need, but as many previously have said, the power cables are wrong - I think. Apologies if you've since remade it. I haven't had access to the correct resources to check but I don't think the cables were there. Quote

So do you think I should remove the white pieces that are parts of the engine? Thanks! I like it. Nice design aswell. I won't mention the obvious problem though. Above average for me. Thanks! Okay thanks for not mentioning. Thanks! Need to work on resizing those JUMBO pictures. Sorry I forgot to resize them. I went for above average. Or do you mean the white pieces? If you do mean the black cables, then I can't change them as I don't really have anything else to use as a substitute. Sorry I am new to making a pod, so I don't know alot about making them. No I haven't since remade it. Thanks again for the comments and keep em coming! Star_Wars_Rules Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 I think they are referring to the black cables. They are in the wrong position on the pod itself. they should be on the sides not on the front. Here is a link to some pics etc that should help with the location of the cables and the "lightning" power binders that connect to the engines. Quote

Legostein Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 (edited) Hello! Those wheels for the front of the engines are a good choice! I think the most convenient method for making the engine connection glowing with some transparent pieces would be the TECHNIC Edited November 7, 2009 by Legostein Quote
Dennimator Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Nice podracer, but as a few people already mentioned, those white pieces should be replaced, with what Legostein said... Hello! Those wheels for the front of the engines are a good choice! I think the most convenient method for making the engine connection glowing with some transparent pieces would be the TECHNIC axle connectors which have the same dimensions as the pin connectors you are currently using. With the difference that the axle connectors are available in transparent red. Cheers, ~ Christopher ...Together with these in Red. Quote
CommanderFox Posted November 8, 2009 Author Posted November 8, 2009 Thanks for the comments guys! @ Legostein, thanks for the idea! I don't have any of those in Transparent red, but maybe a BL order in the future can change that. @ Dennimator, I have afew of those, so no problems once I get some of those transparent red pieces (that Legostein mentioned) in the future. Keep the C and C coming! Thanks! CommanderFox Quote
