Buses/Bus terminals (cos I am a bus fans, trust me, if one day, Lego setup a bus system, uk style, I believe that's a hugh market in UK, and in HK) New Cottages/Houses.. (seems that's no more Cottages after 1989) Flowers shop/Bontique Church Taxi?! (not Spider man one... A taxi could carry passengers) Quote

I'd like a "modern" version of the red house in Main Street, in different colors with different shops. It doesn't have to be a big set, we can "finish" it with standard bricks on our own. A few of those (imagining tan and sand green) would be nice for starters... A new marina, harbor (combined with a cargo train station), oil rig, hotel, taxi, bus station, cottages, super market... and then I need a new house to stuff all that in... Quote

Exactly Hobbes :oD + add restaurants, a new paradisa beach to go with the harbor and port, fishermen sets, a new diver line (...). Also add a zoo/aquarium ( :oD ), a farm (re :oD ) with house, barn, tractors (...)... [exactly like Duplo just released more or less ;) ] But NO MORE cops, firemen, rescue dudes, docs and what have you !!!!! We NEED normal people !!!! The current space-based sets (mainly Star Wars but also the NASA items) just don't fire my imagination as much as Lego's own designs did, or do for that matter. So I would like to see a new line with everything from small one person vehicles (flying and groundbased) up to magnificent behemoths, with bases to round the whole thing off. (a new monorail set would be great) But as long as SW is around that's not going to happen...... :( Quote

I think what I'm asking for is crystal caves, with a lightup feature. But not JUST a lightup feature, one where the bulbs used are those mini UV blacklight bulbs, like found in secret spy ink pen toys. Only, it'd be replacing the bulb in the 1x2 electric train brick. Why blacklight? Because the caverns could glow from the inside. The sets would use new baseplates, but on TOP of the bricks, not bricks atop a baseplate. It'd be a space theme, so funky different colored caves could be used. I know of at least 3 trans colors used in Bionicle glow MADLY under blacklight. Neon green, neon orange, neon blue, neon pink, neon red, and to a point, neon yellow. Not to mention the glow in the dark parts that glow even moreso near a UV source. Meh... I'm being too ambitious... too abstract to ever happen. Quote

Tons of them! And anything keeping national and company neutrality. Sponsors and NASA rockets arent fun for everyone, think if a polish kid wants to imagine the polish space organization going to mars... (example) and Octan kicks Shell's butt anyday(even though Shell was the original Lego oil company). :P Quote

I don't care if they continue KKII, so long as we see something more traditional. -Minifig packs. Sure, there is a great City pack, but I would love to see some minifig packs for other themes. Amassing Castle armies, or Stormtroopers is simply too expensive! How about a few basic packs, leaving the more unique figs for the larger sets. I understand that LEGO doesn't want minifig sales eating into the sales of the big sets, but if the packs only provided you with basic troops, you would think that the sets would still sell. Later. People brought up Atlantis, Antartica, and Center of the Earth ideas, which would be really cool. This would of course include cool vehicles and cool locales for the team to go to. A "Desert Knights" theme based on Middle Eastern Medieval Architecture and Style. An Ancients theme featuring Romans, Greeks, and Egyptians (preferably different each year) or "Castle" themes influenced by the stylings of the 3 civilizations. Like EVERYONe has pointed out - a REGULAR town theme... I dunt know why having a cool looking new Restrauant or Supermarket or Gas Station CAN'T be Interesting anymore... or god forbid... a HOUSE? I like most of what the new town sets are doing(Minifigs get cooler and cooler)... they just gotta stop with all the Police/Fire stuff. It was nice to see the Medical theme... but there is ltierally NO ONE to heal but Firemen and Police officers! More Vikings! (Thankfully this will come true) Create a Minifig is definately a cool idea. and... PIRATES :| Quote

Beagle Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 I would like to see a sub-theme of "City" with lots of different sorts of minifig-scale automobiles. Not just race cars and emergency vehicles, but sedans, coupes, station wagons, old classic cars and trucks, sports cars, vans, etc. Actually it might be neat to see a whole "Roads" sub-theme that encompassed all things automobile-related.... filling stations, drive-in diners, mechanics, etc. Also, eventually a newly-reinvigorated space theme (as many have said). Take all the great ship-building principles and pieces that Star Wars has spawned, and apply it to a new in-house line of space ships/space stations/moonbases. Focus on making it more exploration-themed, not war-themed, in line with Lego's philosophies. Quote
