wunztwice Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Hokay... So there are a ton of fantastic entries in Classic-Castle's Mini Castle Contest so far, and mine will most likely not really compete, but I've had this idea for a while, so... I was pondering micro stuff one day, and decided to attempt the smallest, instantly recognizable castle I could. These 8 parts are what I came up with. Enjoy, and best wishes for all the entries! prateek Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 That's really good. I love the SNOT effects, and the water looks good Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Haha, I like that one. It is really well built. I like pretty much everything on it. Quote
Commander Flash Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Very well pulled off castle! It is the true definition of micro; a mini, but recognizable, model. The scenery goes well with it. Quote
Milan Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Excellent. Level of detailed you have managed to pack is awesome. I think the water and road are the best! Quote
Forresto Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Easily recognizable and easily the best micro castle i've seen so far. I'm interested in what more you could do with it like expanding the area and adding a small village. It would just be for fun by expanding it. Quote
BlueBard Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Wonderful micro-job! Love the ideas for the cliffs and the fields Quote
Legostein Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Hello! That's an ingenious idea for the towers at the edges of the castle. I will remember this. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Ratshot Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 That looks pretty good. The tree looks a bit out of place though. Ratshot Quote

Don't be so hard on yourself, I think this is spot on. THe water is executed very well. The castle is pure brilliance, the hinge bricks are perfect. Plus there are almost no studs showing, that is worth alot in my book Quote
Commander Laquiet Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Excellent! This is one of the nicest little creations I have seen in along time. I really like the variety of pieces you've used to create the landscape. The cliffs look really really good too. That clear blue colour is one of the nicest colours for water, it conveys a deepness to it. Very, very nice work! Quote
Karzon989 Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 That is the smallest Castle I ever saw and it looks great Quote
Batbrick Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Wow! You really meant micro, that's the smallest Lego Castle ever! Love the look wunztwice, the use of those technic pieces is very clever. The water looks great also. Batbrick Away! Quote
wunztwice Posted October 27, 2009 Author Posted October 27, 2009 Wow! Thank you, I never expected this little MOC to garner so much attention. I am pleased the little technique has caught so many eyes! Thanks for looking! Quote
starwarsfanatic Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 (edited) I love the water on the set. Where did you get those trans-blue bricks? EDIT: Never mind. A quick search on BrickLink provided me with an answer. Edited October 29, 2009 by starwarsfanatic Quote
