Does anyone know the background on this little promo set, the images and images of the instructions exist on the internet, but no signs of where the promo set was made for, none I can find on ebay, bricklink or the like.

Just wondered if anyone knows anything about it, it's the sort of set I expected to be included in this Daily Mail Lego giveaway promotion but sadly not?

For small promotional sets like this one, you probably could get one by having really good luck to have some LEGO promotional events carried out at your country, or pay a unreasonably high price at Bricklink and/ or eBay, etc. (However, I don't see Bricklink has it available for sale now.)

I would recommend you gather/ buy the bricks necessary for the set and build it yourself, especially you actually manage to find the instruction online, as the number and rarity of the bricks required are usually easy to deal with. Of course, that is not exactly what you want probably... :sceptic:
