harrysnapperorgans Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Well, not quite. But I do live in New Zealand which is a long, long way south. My name is Ben Brunskill, I'm 23 years old. I've had a fairly long dark age(s) but I'm really trying to get back into Lego. One reason is my two year old son. He's a bit young now, but I want to play and build with him when he is older. One other reason is there is now some Bricklink sellers based in NZ, which means I can get Lego parts much cheaper, and without huge shipping charges. (yay!) I'm married, and have a litany of other hobbies, including electronics, sound engineering, and playing the guitar, bass, drums, and piano. Just to make this interesting, I'll send a free Minifig to the first person who can tell me who the orginal Harry ' Snapper' Organs was, and who voiced the character. harrysnapperorgans Posted October 23, 2009 Author Posted October 23, 2009 Natman 8000, congratulations! PM or email me and I'll send you a fig! I can do town, pirates or a cyborg, up to you. Superintendent Harry 'Snapper' Organs is a character voiced by Terry Jones in the Monty Python sketch 'Piranha Brothers', and he's my favourite character from my favourite ever Monty Python episode. Natman8000 Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 I can't give you my adress in a message until you have 10 posts, so I send it to you then, or in some other way. What is the cyborg minifig composed of, same w/ pirates. Quote
Svelte Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Since the minig has been snared, I've edited the topic title to avoid disappointment Welcome to EB! Quote

Cyborg is something silly I made the other day, a blue minifig body with robotic arms and head. Haven't made legs yet, but I'll try to come up with something interesting. Quote

If they break something you just rebuild it Great to hear there is a few BL stores in NZ now, give Maxspace a look too as he only has to mail from Australia. Always has about 350000 pieces at any given time. Quote

Bricktrain Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Hi Ben. Not sure what you mean as in now some Bricklink sellers in NZ as there have been BL stores in NZ from 2000. Anyway, hope you enjoy building up your collection. At least you live in the city so can get all those bargain sets on sale. Its good to see a few kiwis on here, when do we begin the fullscale invasion? Quote
