DB_777 Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Hello everyone, I'm the founder of a new lego group called Diorama Builders. The website for the group is still in the process of being made but I will post a link to it as soon as possible. Currently there are 10 afols in the Lego Diorama Builders Group (LBDG). Including two designers from the lego company. We are all experts at design and make large scale dioramas. At the moment we are working on the battle of endor which so far has 450 figures. (154 classic ewoks, 203 stormstroopers, 41 scout troopers, 25 rebels and 27 misc figures). It is a perfect square and measures 5 feet by 5 feet. I'll have pictures after the finishing touches. (within the week) We are also working on a hoth battle scene and a geonosian arena diaramas but we are only drafting and ordering pieces for those right now. The figures for the geonosian arena are very hard to come by so that one might take a while. A little about me.. I've lived in Denmark all of my life and I'm still here. For a career I'm a Cardiologist and in my spare time I enjoy drafting for future lego dioramas and watching sports with my buds. I don't have time for much else though as my job is very time consuming. Thats about it. Thank you for your time. Quote

DB_777 Posted October 23, 2009 Author Posted October 23, 2009 Thank you for the attention everyone. Right now we are waiting for a bricklink and a pick a brick order. Each of us put in $950.00 USD so the diorama costed us $9,500 this time plus all of the figures and pieces from our personal collections. The diorama was estimated to be done last week but we've had a few design flaws. Some pieces came in the wrong color too. The order should be here by next tuesday. Some us even weighed it. It came in at 82 pounds. Its going to be hard to move it to brickfest, comic con, etc Quote
