michaelozzie Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 My custom Napoleonic army is really taking shape now. Some new additions are the 10th light infantry regiment voltiguers(skirmishers) shown in the last pic here, who wore colpacks (the same headress as hussars). Also im adding to my Old Guard with the Middle Guard Fusilier-Grenadiers shown in the second last pic who had white epaulets and shakos rather than the Bearskins and red epaulets of the Old Guard Grenadiers. Any suggestions for my next troop types of the Grand Armee to start are welcome. Quote
gogobig Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Wow. Very impressive custom work and collection Michaelozzie. Even though the hats are not my personal style, they look amazing. Quote
Zorro Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Most impressive! Perhaps you could add some "hospital soldiers"? (the guys in a dark reddish uniform that threated the wounded, also the doctors were included in this corps). PS: a suggestion: could you please keep the updates about your army into one thread instead of each time creating a fresh one, that is much easier for us and if you post it gets bumped to the top anyway. BrickPerfection Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Wow. that is amazing, i mean perfect. Without your work I would never have thought such realism to be possible with Lego. Though I also have to state that the amount of historical accuracy and detail might tend to be "too much" for something that basically still is a toy. But that's just a opinion of me. Your work is stunning for sure. Quote
General Armendariz Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Your expanding so fast that by the end of the year you will have enough to fill your house with! great collection. Quote
martinsuper Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I am so impressed! They look REAL nice! Good job! Quote
Joey Lock Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 It would be a shame to shoot all those uniforms to bits. But, If it has to be done, It shall be done! Quote
Tereglith Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 (the guys in a dark reddish uniform that threated the wounded, also the doctors were included in this corps). They threated the wounded? "You! Heal up now! Or I'll shoot you again!" Sounds scary... Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 This is the most lovely Napoleonic army I've seen yet! (sorry Zorro and Bonaparte ) I must ask, have you added Carbinier and Currasier? And how 'bout some elite lancers. Quote
grand armee Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 i found your old guard decals some place i can't remember and used them. hope you don't mind. i really like the drummer in the front. he's amazing and looks awesome. Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 I would also like to see a couple more sappers. And perhaps a MoC of them sapping under a small, crudely made, wooden English fortification. Quote
