Hey people, I need a way to make Chainshot and Grapeshot THAT WILL ACUALLY FIT AND SHOOT for my cannons. Please no cutting or drilling, I don't want to ruin my Lego.

PLEASE HELP

I like Black Rabbit's idea for the grape shot although I have never seen it tired.

As for the chain shot I doubt you could pull this off unless Lego designs a new canon with a wider barrel.

Or, you could just try to stuff a 30104 chain down the barrel... may need one of the previously mentioned bushings down the bore for an impact-surface though.

The trouble with this is that the ends jam, whichever way you insert the chain. A short length of the chain (they're cheap on Bricklink) could work, especially if you removed the centre rod of the cannon.

I have tried to make a chainshot as well, but I don't have success either. :pir-sceptic:

My only solution up till now is; two of these on top of each other, with a chain on top. This part goes into the cannon. The end of the Chain is connected to another round brick, which will be on the floor next to the cannon.

My solution looks really bad, but it works pretty good! :pir_laugh2:

I think both the "Technic Bush 1/2 Smooth" and Slyowl method should work.

Both are quite cheap on Bricklink anyway.

Experiment! And let us know the outcome :pir-wink: .

Even with a bushing "pusher" and the ends sticking out of the muzzle? I'd test it, but the only chain I have that I know where it is ATM means tearing apart the crane on Brickbeard's Bounty--which is currently keeping a boat secured aboard.

Ah, I missed the bit about the ends sticking out the muzzle. I had a go at it, but it's very difficult to get much of the chain down the muzzle (I didn't want to remove the centre pin), and even then it doesn't fire very far at all. I had a go with a short bit of the chain you get on the plug in the sink, which worked better.
