Captain'Spaulding Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 (edited) This is a steampunk Walker, sorry for the background (I don't live in a white house, whit white wall and white.... Well!) I want to build a background for him, but now I break this one, too late! The most hard to build for me, I break it many times when I build it, there's a lot of SNOT technique in it and I could move it in many diferents positions. Need to understand much more about Photoshop to do a nice background. Hope you like it! Edit: Sorry this one is not in the good topic. Edited October 15, 2009 by Captain'Spaulding Quote
Tereglith Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 WOW! This MOC has perhaps the most pure steampunkery per cubic inch than any I have ever seen. I love all the greebles, a huge amount for such a small creation. Awesome job. PS - if you have a chair, a lamp, and printer paper, you have a photo studio. Quote
Batbrick Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Man this is great Captain'Spaulding! I love all the little greebles you've added, the claw hand especially looks great. The chain and arm section that wraps around the minifig's head looks superb as well, good choice of helmet too, fits right in. The only thing I would change are the legs, they look a little simple compared to the rest and a little short too. awesome little walker all up though Batbrick Away! Quote
user Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 This looks way more like a mech than a walker. But the creation is crazy awesome! I love everything about it do you have a flickr account because i'd like to add this to my favorite pics list. Quote
Milan Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 It really is crazy. In a positive way, of course! I like the details on it. Very well done! Quote
LuxorV Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Vey nice walker and impressive action pose, Captain'Spaulding I really like the richness in details you managed to include in it, still having it look pretty sturdy. Btw, I'm moving this topic to the LEGO Sci-fi forum, where it belongs LuxorV Quote
KimT Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Wow this is a great walker. I like that you've used black, normally we get a lot of brown and reddish brown in the Steampunk MOC's and having a black one is a fresh breath of air for once. Never mind the not so white background - You did some nice photo-coverage after all Keep up the good work. Quote
Fumoffu Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Very very nice. This is probably the best walker I seen yet. I like the patch together look ... very steam punk. Thanks for sharing. Quote
TenorPenny Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 The greebles and other bits of detail are perfect! Well done. Quote
saberwing Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) a very nice creation spaulding! This walker really makes me want to make a walker or a hardsuit. Edited October 16, 2009 by saberwing Quote
Optimus Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Great job, I especially like the claw arm and cannon. Also good use of those guns on the body of the mech. The chains make it look very menacing. Nice work! Quote
zero1312 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Very nice!! It reminds me of the Chaos Cybots from Warhammer 40000, especially the claw. Quote
RocketClone Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Sweet looking steampunk mecha walker there! im loving the greebling there nice job! Quote
