Scrat Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I just love SP III... Chick: brickshelf flickr Quote
Tereglith Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 That's a nice car you've got there! The chick is... disturbing... to say the least . I might extend the hood a couple studs and add to the engine that's sticking up, to give it more of that hot-rod look, but other than that, the car is awesome. The door handles are very clever, so kudos to you if you came up with that. I would expect to see it on the cover of an interstellar ship fancier's magazine. "Here it is, the 2617 Chevrolet Aveo!" Commander Flash Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 That is quite the hot rod I love the windshield gun holes and the sticking out engine Quote
Optimus Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Wow, this is great, especially the "chick!" I like how you managed to keep the authentic look of the SP3 vehicle while adding a lot of neat details. I also really like the "retro" look it has. Great work! Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I like how you managed to keep the authentic look of the SP3 vehicle It is definately the stickers I think it rocks! I love the lime "pod" for lack of a better word, on the back, and I also find the elevated sides on the hood rather visualy pleasing. I too love SPIII Quote
Legostein Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Hello! That's a great technique to build classic-looking cars in general. The snot-use of the curved bricks, and the angles realized by the 1x2 grill slopes and chrome underwater spears are excellent! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
TenorPenny Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I love the wonky number plate on the back! Great work. Quote
