cagri Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Here's a quick MOC I built: More images: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=405693 http://www.flickr.com/photos/legoadam/ http://www.turklug.com/legoadam/gorsel/013/013.html Quote
aawsum Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Nice MOC. Simple setup, but complete finished in all details. I like the plant and also how you fitted the chairs Quote
Milan Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I like the non stud approach, something I am following. It looks nice, although, maybe something you could put to fill that empty space, perhaps more patients, or reception desk... I like the floor, the plant, drink machine...Nice! Quote
ProducePrincess Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 This really reminds me of theme hospital mainly because of the styling and setup Quote
Legostein Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Hello there! This is very very authentic, and exactly what it looks like in hospitals. The single flower, the coke machine, and the typical floor pattern. And a great technique for the small 1x1 tiles at the bottom of the wall! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
BlueBard Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Wonderful little MOC. Accurated and self-explanatory Quote
cagri Posted October 14, 2009 Author Posted October 14, 2009 Thank you for the nice comments. I was building random thigns and came up with the tiled wall. I thoguht it deserved a MOC so I came up with this. I also had a vending machine laying around so it was a quick build in the end. I actualyl wanted to stick a decal to the notice board next to the sitting figure but I couldn't print it out in the right size :( Stupid printer kept giving me larger stickers.. I doN't know what was wrong with it. I measured it and made the canvas at the same size.. I dunno ... Here's the notice board banner: Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Excellent. It really has that sterile hospital feeling. You can almost smell that disinfectant smell! Quote
The Green Brick Giant Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Is that how hospitals are in Turkey? In the USA there would need to be about 100 more minifigures. Nice job. Quote
cagri Posted October 18, 2009 Author Posted October 18, 2009 Sorry for reanimating the topic. I have been asked for how I built the vending machine so I thoguht you guys may want to see as well. Here's the hint: Quote
Perterz Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 That vending machine is really great, clever build! I like all the tiling and chairs aswell, maybe some medical advertising and text above the door would make it even more detailed. Catchy scenery! Keep at it. Quote
Milan Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Really ingenious design of the machine. Nice build! Quote
JayDuck Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 That vending machine is great, and the tiling on the wall is a neat detail. It's a great scene, even if it does remind me of the time I spent in the hospital in the spring. Quote
