Lorentzen Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Hi guys - I thought I'd share my pictures from this summer when I went to Legoland Billund. I decided to upload all 59 pictures because I know the interest in everything LEGO related is high on eurobricks Enjoy - I haven't arranged them in any order Notice how the windmill is intact here: Immediately after I took the above picture, this happened Quote
Davey Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Awesome pictures! Looks like it was a really great visit. I hope to make it over there myself someday. I really thought it was funny how the wind turbine fell apart right after you snapped the picture. Whoops. Thanks for sharing! -Dave Quote
ronmcrae Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Nice pictures, thanks for sharing. Legoland Billund is quite a place - we had a fun few days there too this summer. On the wind turbine problem, I reckon the little kid in the first picture is loading up a catapult and taking aim at the turbine Quote
Dr. Steve Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I have never been to a lego land, and this was my first time seeing pics from one. WOW!!! Amazing. I have to see this in person. Thanks for sharing. Quote
ACCURATEin Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Wow!! They have some amazing builders over there!! Lots of amazing builds. Thanks for sharing! Quote
Front Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Thank you for a great photo series. I had a walk around in the park a month or two ago, and really enjoyed the Norwegian display: City of Bergen in Norway. Dutch display is rather big, I don't think you have a photo showing the best: Dutch canals. Other great displays are ofcourse a lot of the Danish stuff, all the castles, but also some of the harbour stuff: Nyhavn in Copenhagen. Tower in Esbjerg, Denmark. cheers Front Quote
prateek Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Wow. Amazing. I really need to go there at least once in my lifetime Quote
ILikePi Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Wow, great pictures of a great park I wish to visit one day, Lorentzen! My favorite of these pictures has to be the "Arla" farm plantation. The real trees and grasses just make it look so lifelike. All of those other models are amazing! The airport is very well made! I really like the largeness of the airplanes and the number of windows in the building. The seaport is awesome! I especially like the trail that the truck is on - it's details like that that make creations interesting! The NASA space station is very realistic! I really like the smoke that comes out of the space shuttle. Those "cave drawings" inside the rock walls are just beautiful. I really like the giraffe and the ostriches. I just like large LEGO animals so much. Thanks for sharing all of these wonderful pictures! Notice how the windmill is intact here: Immediately after I took the above picture, this happened Looks like your camera's picture taking "strength" is much stronger than usual. But seriously, that's so funny! That must have been a one in a million chance for that to happen right after you took a pic. Quote
Pellaeon Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Thank you for a great photo series.I had a walk around in the park a month or two ago, and really enjoyed the Norwegian display: City of Bergen in Norway. The Bergen display looks amazing. I've only visited Bergen once (friend of mine getting his Ph.D. there), but scrolling through your pictures those jumped right out at me -- hey, you've been here! Thanks for sharing, Lorentzen! Quote
