Karzon989 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 A month ago this Water Castle got finished. When you dont like anything, dont be shy and just say what doesnt look so good because this Castle still exists and i could rebuild it. I also hope of course, that you like my first moc put on Eurobricks. Here is the first Link for it: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=397220 . I forgott something to say. On the first Link there is the Castle without an Army in it and without a ceiling. Here is the second Link with an Army and a ceiling: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=401794 . I think, you will like the second one more. Quote
Ratshot Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 When you dont like anything, dont be shy and just say what doesnt look so good because this Castle still exists and i could rebuild it. I like it I think that this would go good with a mid-evil port. Your army looks good to Quote

ziljin Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Nice, I didn't even notice the roof wasn't sloped until I zoomed in. Seems a bit cramped though. Like one catapult shot and they are all goners. Then again, its a bit difficult to fit in a staircase in a small structure. Quote
Big Cam Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 It is very basic as a cube but effective. I agree it looks a bit cramped up top for all those soldiers. Nice start to a Castle though! Quote
Legostein Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 (edited) Hello! I am not an experienced castle builder, but I like it nonetheless! Maybe you want to use two 1x6 arch bricks instead of the 2x6 brick over the entrance. Another hint in general, if I am allowed to propose this here: MOCs free from dust look much more attractive and give it a sparkling look on the photo. I - for example - use an old 1 inch brush to clean older creations from dust. Edited October 8, 2009 by Legostein Quote
Karzon989 Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 Here you see, how it got attacked from Vikings. Just the Viking King lived the battle. Batbrick Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I do like it, and your army is quite neat. However I think it is too boxy. As a prototype for the finished product it is great, but I would recommend searching for pictures of really good Lego castles for ideas on how to add some better architecture to yours Batbrick Away!
