marcosbessa Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 (edited) Hi everyone! It's been some time since my last visit, but not always there's time for everything! But I've been building... These days, I've been building for contests. This time, for LUSOlympics (a slightly different version of MOCOlympics between my LUG and Brasilian LUG), I had to build something related to Tintin's Adventures... Well, I never realy liked those cartoons, so I was thinking... searching in web... And then a friend of mine suggested me to do Milou, the dog! And I loved the idea! But I didn't have white plates/bricks enough to make it complete, so I had to "hide" it! ;D Hope you like it! Edited May 29, 2011 by Rufus Indexed Quote
Big Cam Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 (edited) Very creative, it represents a dog perfectly, a little cartoonish, but hey wasn't that the point. Nice work, do you know the piece count? Edited October 4, 2009 by Big Cam Quote
Milan Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I like it a lot!!! It is so cut, like it is shy! It has so warm and friendly face!!! Quote
Front Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Great moc of Tintin's dog. When you get more white bricks, you'll have to do an out-off-the-box moc too. Quote

Wout Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 That is a great moc. He looks very much like it. Quote
kill will Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 That's excellent! Great use of the droid arms Quote
Eskallon Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Lovely dog moc, I was gonna do one just like it but of my dog. Quote
Oky Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 That's awesome! The head is excellent. The part that is inside the box looks a bit strange, but as it is hidden, it still works. Tintin FTW! Quote
marcosbessa Posted October 4, 2009 Author Posted October 4, 2009 (...)The part that is inside the box looks a bit strange, but as it is hidden, it still works. (...) This was built with the only-one-photo purpose, so that in the box was only not to let it "empty"! Thanks a lot, everyone! ;) Quote
Izzy Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 That is just adorable. You've done a really great job, I recognized him immediately. In the Tin-tin books we get his name is "Snowy!" Quote
Peppermint_M Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Milou! That is very cute, looks just right. He looks like he is ready to pop out and warn everyone about a nogoodnick who snuck past. Quote
Raven Brickroft Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Love the creation. I love how you made the paws. He is just adorable. I remember the dog being named "Snowy". Just wiki'd: Milou was named Snowy in the American version ( If I read that correctly ) Quote
marcosbessa Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 Finally I have the LDD file for my little puppy... If you wanna have yours, let me know! ;) Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Cute dog! Very nicely done marcosbessa Looks like a nice lego gift for the girls. Quote
DeathMakuta Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 In the version of the books, the dog is called snowy. Nice MOC though Quote
Jargo Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Cool! Also looks a bit like Asterix the Gaul's dog Dogmatix. You'd only have to change the tips of the ears and tail to black for Dogmatix. Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 He's called 'Bobbie' in Holland Excellent work, but to help you in the contest, you could also change the ears a little. On this image, the ears are curved backwards a little while yours are pointed forward: That's probably quite easy to fix. Good luck in the contest! Quote
