The Penguin Posted November 23, 2009 Author Posted November 23, 2009 (edited) Why did I fail to notice this topic after so long? Heroes 3 is one of my all time favourite game, and I should have noticed that with the distinct title such as Erathia should have caught my attention much earlier. I am pretty excited to see all of your updates, and so far your customs are real solid. I like those Erathia footsoliders and the new Elf addition. It's very lovely and of course, mighty. Thanks for sharing it with us. Thank you for your kind words, WhiteFang! ) That's always great to meet another HMMIII fan around! ) I hope you'll like the upcoming part as well! ) More great work, Penguin! I saw the previous lot on Brickshelf before you posted them. I see you ventured into decals rather than painting them. You did a great job, but I still prefer you handiwork with a brush. The vampire lord is also very well done. You could use the head again for a Man-Bat figure! Keep it up. Thanks a lot, friend! ) Very kind of you! ) Oh, wekll, I used decals here dfor Erathian Army, so that they have a uniform-like look. But I still stick to painting rather than using decals. ) Yep, a very good idea! Thanks! ) More wonderful work, The Penguin! The Erathia's men are great and the vampire is priceless, just as I remembered it form the game Great to hear that you liked those! ) I hope you'll like the upcoming part as well! ) I love the big sleeves on your vampire! I may have to steal that technique sometime. Oh well! ) That's why I'm posting my MOCs here: to inspire others to create something great for the joy of the whole community! ) Wow, this is an impressive amount of custom figs. I love the detail you put into them and the paint job's are very clean! Thanks a lot! ) I've been practicing a lot with painting. ) And without further ado, here comes another part! ) Inspired by your kind comments, I've continued working, so here's the first actual hero from Heroes of Might and Magic III! ) I hope you'll like him! ) Name: Ingham. Race: Human Male Cleric. Specialty: Ingham increases the Attack and Defense skills of any Monks or Zealots he commands for each level he attains after the 5th level. Biography: Ingham maintained a modest monastary in the years before the Kreegan attack. He and his monks were quickly pressed into the service of the Erathian crown. HMMIII Ingham. My LEGO Ingham. The interesting thing is, that in HMMIII you can't see the outfit of most heroes, so his cloth is mostly my vision of him. And since he's a monk, I thought he should have had a simple but good-looking nevertheless robe. ) As a kind of a bonus, here's a monk, on which our hero has a specialization. ) I hope you'll like that part! ) Kreegans shall not pass! ) Any comments, please? ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Edited November 23, 2009 by The Penguin Quote
The Penguin Posted November 24, 2009 Author Posted November 24, 2009 (edited) No comments? ) Oh, well! Anyway, here' a new part! ) Name: Edric Race: Human Male Knight Specialty: Edric increases the Attack and Defense skills of any Griffins or Royal Griffins he commands for each level he attains after the 3rd level. Biography: Edric's father was the first man in Erathia to domesticate and train a wild Griffin. Now, Edric continues what his father started by setting up Erathia's largest Griffin breeding grounds for use in the King's armies. HMMIII Edric. My LEGO Edric. With his specialization griffin. ) I hope you liked the part! ) Any comments, please? ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Edited November 24, 2009 by The Penguin Quote

The Penguin Posted November 27, 2009 Author Posted November 27, 2009 (edited) I love all of these! Your painting skills have really gotten much better, Penguin! Thank you very much, Pi! ) This hammer is awesome! And paint Job in this little fellow! What can I say... I don't know any more words to describe my feelings right now ... Must find some time and look on the dictionary xD Oh, you're too kind. ) I hope you'll like the new part. ) And here it is! ) This part will not be stricktly based on the game, but somewhat near it. ) Elven scouts/sharpshooters. With the modified elven warrior from one of the previous posts. Erathian worker. Never shown in the game, however somehow he manages to building an entire, say, fort in one day! ) A skeleton. Well, that's an interesting one. It's not strickyly based on his game image, but I've always thoufgt that they should've looked like that, since their dwelling has been some ruined Roman temple-like building. I've always imagined them to be some long forgotten warriors of the past. Since HMM takes place in "Middle Ages", they could easilly be roman-like warriors. ) I hope you liked the part! ) Any comments, please? ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Edited November 27, 2009 by The Penguin Quote

Forresto Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 As usual great minifigures! (man walks into an Erathian bank with a wide grin. The babarian of a banker glances moodily at him.) Man: I would like to take out 50 gold coins please. Banker: Gold coins mine, you take paper money! Man: Look my good sir, try to be reasonable here. Banker: You have funny moustache, For it I give you ur coins. Man:(Horrified) My. . . my moustache? Banker: I give coins for ur curly moustache. Man: I won't do it! (Banker takes out a club and smashes it against the man's head. The man and his moustache are never seen again. The next day however the banker is seen with a new curly moustache. The two are believed to be unrealated by Erathian law enforcement.) Sorry for that anyways great minifigures. Quote
