What categories would you choose for CCC VII?

I would choose:

1. Castle vignette,

2. Medieval life,

3. Castle (of course ;) ),

4. Chess (make your own chess set, prize - some Chess set),

5. Castle-mix up (mix Castle theme with Star Wars, Space, Adventurers, Town etc., prize - maybe 1843),

6. Secret hideout (that's my favourite :P ),

7. LOTR (build a LOTR MOC, prize - some custom LOTR set or minifig),

8. Medieval surrealsim (build something strange, unrealistic and breaking the laws of physics :lol: prize - hmm, I think the best what would fit here is custom set),

9. Medieval church (build a church, prize - I really don't know what would fit here)

10. (like always) Misc,

11. (like always, too) Master Bulider.

I don't usually speculate on what categories will be used, and thus it is a pleasant surprise seeing what the Classic-Castle staff has come up with. Though thinking about it does make one appreciate the job the CC administrators do.

I can't think of any new ideas offhand, but I wouldn't mind seeing another "Da Vinci" type category, where the builder is challenged to build a medieval invention that is ahead of its time.

Spinning off on what Sir Dillon said mentioned a 'Da Vinci' era I thought it would be kinda cool to involve all of the arts that became popular during the Renaissance. From vigs of sculptures to anything else of the Renaissance.
