Which figurehead in the pirate theme do you like most?

I voted for the yellow bird, since it only comes in two sets, averages about $5 on bricklink, and I have a pet parrot, so naturally I love birds. It is also unique compared to the other ships because most of them have a person/pirate as a figure head.

I've always thought that the figurehead of a vessel was one of those great little details that no ship should be without. Some are better than others, but any figurehead is better than none at all.

And then there's the mystery of the Armada flagship, which may or may not have a figurehead... :-D

I don't like any of the figureheads very much though 8-|

reason i picked the BSB is that it's a pirate female for a figurehead on a pirate ship,

so it fits

I'd have to say that the CC figurehead was a close second for the same reasons SirNadroj mentioned.

The female on the BSB it is for me, simply most realistic!

The parrot on the clipper and the red dragon on the RR i also like a lot.

I seem to have voted allready, but that appears to have been lng enough ago that I forgot.

Regardless of whatever I voted, I'd say that that I don't really even like figure heads. In reality, only merchants and warships of the 17th and early 18th (when we were still getting ungainly giants like the Sovereign of the Seas, etc.) Navy ships were more likely to have something along the lines of their nation's coat of arms.

From all the official figureheads, I think that the Caribbean Clipper's bird is the best - I remember how precious this particular brick was for me, as for many years I had only one yellow bird (today I have like 3 of them - so still not many). The BSB's figurehead is a very close second, I also like the Renegade Runner's dragon and I don't really like the others.

For the schooner Geisha, I used a yellow torso (representing gold) but used a blank white head and black straight female hair to kind of go with the name. In the hands are a black pistol and a yellow goblet. Works okay I think.

From the original ones I like the ones used by the BSB and the SES (in that order) the most. The BSB was the best in many fields, I just don't get why TLC released worse and worse ships after that...

The bird at the front of the caribean clipper looks neat, and thus gets my vote.

BSB's figurehead is a close second however!

The figure of the Skulls Eye Schooner (one of my favorite boats, together with the barracuda offcourse! ) looks the best to me! The figure itself is nicer than the one of the barracuda.

The setting could be a bit better though. It's just standing vertically... That's too bad. They could make a really nice figure of it. But still, the white captain is winning the rest!

I personally - for the very first version of Parrot. The original parrot vpisalsya, at first sight - do not understand that there is a yellow parrot, but if you look ... vobschem very original idea, so I for Caribbean Clipper!

I voted for the yellow hawk-bird-thing on the Caribbean clipper because it's nice compared to the other with a standard minifigure on it.

The Armada Flagship has a figurehead, but no one can figure out what it is. It looks like a kind of dragon who put his tongue out.

the one of black seas barracuda is the best but actually they are all quite bad. a lot of ships had more a shield-weapon thing or something like that or one that looks better than these ..
