I am very glad that Lego made the City Farm category but I was not very happy about how the cowshed looked. So I made my own in a more Swedish style. It is very loosely based of the farm where I grow up.

What do you think?

Very cool, I like the inside, the plough, the silo's and all the other details.

The red shed itself ... well ... I am not sure, it's ... maybe too much 4 walls and a roof. But at least that is functional :classic:

But in total, it is really great

oh, maybe one thing more, a normal cow shed from the inside is a bit more dirty then this neat grey floor you have now

This is typically farm in my countryside, just main building is white! These silos are very nice. Also the mechanization is great. Very well done!

Thank you!

Do you have any suggestions on how to make it more interesting? On the other side it is intended for the tractor to park so space is needed.

I don't want to add cow sh.. to my Lego!

You could add some brown and tan tiles (or even some plates abive the tiles) for some dirtiness and maybe some yellow ones for the straw

I think it's a typical european farm. Its design can be found all around the continent I think :classic: But it's true the red is an extremeley recurrent colour in swedish houses and countryside buildings

That is a great M.O.C

I am experimenting with spreading some loose plates on the floor and it looks good, it gives a little bit of a dirty look. I will also rebuild some small parts and i am thinking of adding a workbench for repairs in the barn. I have to order some parts to make it look as I want but i will get back when I have done the updates. Thank you for your suggestions!

That's a great MOC, Anders Nolberger!

I really  it!

It looks very realistic! :oh:

The cowshed looks indeed much better than the official one in the farm set!

The plough you added to the red tractor looks great! Do you have some detailed pics of it?

Very well done!

Wow. That is what I would have tried to build if I had bought the City Farm set - since LEGO actually made quite a mess out of it...

For what it's worth, I love this one's looks to bits. The big & sturdy building and the tall silos look perfect and those details are really well thought out. Congratulations
