Athos Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I think if you stick some poles on the flags it would look better. Maybe move the shield down to the middle, rather than up so high. It looks a bit top heavy. Other than that, nice work. Steve Quote
Tom Bricks Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I like the second one better and I agree the shield needs to be lower on the first one. Quote
ziljin Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I like the spear one better, a shield doesn't look right as a standard imo. Quote
Antoi Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 both standard look great i think. But they are to big i think... how do they look if you put some knights next to them? Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 I would choose the one with the shield. The other one is too big in my opinion (tough that spear looks very nice). Quote
UsernameMDM Posted October 2, 2009 Author Posted October 2, 2009 Thanks for the comments everyone. I wound up combining the two and attaching the shield to the other banner between the flags. Working on more standards at the moment and will post pics when I get them done. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 I think if you stick some poles on the flags it would look better. Maybe move the shield down to the middle, rather than up so high. It looks a bit top heavy. Do you know the roman SPQR standards with the heavy eagle on top? I think those standards are quite awesome, I like the concept. It is indeed a good idea to put some lightsaber blade poles in the flags to add even more detail. Great job! Quote
Karzon989 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Nice. I like it. Its a great idea for my army. Quote
