Batbrick Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Excellent use of those log pieces, they are some of my favourites. The way you've incorporated the Market Street is brilliant too. I do like how it gets a bit more sparse away from the village too, though I still think it needs a certain amount of detail there. Batbrick Away! Quote
Stash2Sixx Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Great job! You have many small details inside there. I liked the idea of a charcoal maker, I may borrow that one as I am also working on a village. I was slightly dissappointed to see only two Forestmen remaining. Do you plan to continue adding to it, or is this a final? Quote
CastleLord Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 Thanks for the kind words. Thanks to some Tips from Athos over at CC i am rebuild some of the stuff. And Stash2Sixx i don't know i might. CastleLord. Quote
Karzon989 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Very nice. It is very big and looks great. Quote
ziljin Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I like the diverse amount of stuff going around. Like that orc cart thing, the burial site, the market, and the countryside. Quote
ziljin Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 No other comments on this awesome moc? This is probably frowned upon, but your gravesite inspired me to make a coffin. With a removable lid! Two studs to keep the minifig from moving Your moc is inspiring me to make some sort of graveyard. Going to try to make a large city like you have done. Quote
JeffD984 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I must be blind because I do not know how I missed this. One of my favorite things is the blueprints detailing where you plan to place the various sections. There is an immense amount of vivacity roaming the countryside and lurking within Wylseria! Great job! Quote
CastleLord Posted October 21, 2009 Author Posted October 21, 2009 Well i have to say thanks for the nice comments. Oh and Lego40k if you make the coffin 1 brick lower it will be perfect. And as i think i saied earlier i am working on upgrading it. So stay tuned. CastleLord. Quote
Milan Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Very nice. I like the details inside. Very good work. Quote
I Scream Clone Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 This is a well thought out township, Lots of nice details all around. I agree with Stash about the Charcoal Maker, very good idea. As for the Medieval Market Village, whilst I love the set, I really would like to see people be more creative with the parts and change it around in there MOC's, since you put so much effort into the rest of the town. Don't get me wrong, you have done a great job, I just look for originality in all parts of the build. Well done. Quote
starwarsfanatic Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 A good city and a good utilisation of plenty of parts and of the Medieval Market Village set. Do you know how many parts you used (to the nearest five-hundred) to make this fabulous MOC? Quote
CastleLord Posted November 7, 2009 Author Posted November 7, 2009 (edited) I have now upgraded it pics and info in the first post. And starwarsfanatic on the new one i would say around 4500-4900 bricks. CastleLord. Edited November 7, 2009 by CastleLord Quote
Sir Dillon Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 I'm not particularly good at discerning piece counts, but that estimation seems a bit high. My guess would be <5000. Anyway, it's nice to see you're still working on this. It must be difficult to continue adding when so many of your pieces are already used. I do have to agree with I Scream Clone about the Medieval Market set. The buildings look great, but it's hard for me to see anything other than a set in the middle of your display. That's not necessarily a bad thing though, and I can understand why you wouldn't want to take them apart. Quote

Well the moc began with me trying to build a city around my mmv, but now I can now guarantee that i won't make any more add-ons since i took it appart today. CastleLord. Quote
