That's quite an accurate representation of the 1928 Moriris Minor! I love the super-narrow front end, it's absolutely spot on. And good job on finding a way to fit in those door handles! I know that you were trying to give those jumpers a "steel" feel to match the original, but have you tried using jumper plates (at the base of the car) in matching colours - preferrably black? I think that would give it a more flowing & curvy feel... Although if you're going for 1:1 representation, I guess the grey ones are actually spot on.

...I can't even begin to imagine the kind of outfit that Batman would have been donning back in those days  Anyway, I was wondering - does an actual minifig (preferably one without Batman's horns) fit inside this car?

180px-Detective27.JPG Batman looked like this just 10 years later ;)

I suspect that the version without the door handles (the one in the instructions) should fit a minifig but I won't swear to it. The handles mean I have to fill out the insides too much.

As for the steel... my choice was based as much on reducing part depletion as anything else. I had more light bley jumpers free :D

Pretty sweet. Love the back bumpers and the light blue, it's really cute.

By the way, I can't notify you on flickr since you're blocking me, ;) but your TBB post with this car has a grammar mistake "May I have instructions?" and not "Can I have instructions?" Just a friendly pointer.

Glad to see you on eurobricks.

Raphy, there is a reason I am blocking you and it's because I don't want to hear stuff like this. It is annoying and tedious.

I do know and can use correct grammar. I did rather well at English and have continued my studies quite a bit further than you have or are likely to. I have, however, very rarely seen it used correctly when people ask for instructions and as such have used the common form rather than the correct form.

I hope that explains a couple of things. Thanks for the compliment.

A really beautiful car! Designing old, round and curvy looking cars from the thirties, fourties and fifities is always tricky using Lego but you did an outstanding job.

What did you use to make those instructions?

Great little oldie.

I like the wheels and front end!
