Some more 1930s stuff. This time a bus based on a late 30s Leyland Tiger. Was a lot harder than the truck.

I spray-painted some parts in a craft 'chrome'. I really like the result but if you're a purist just pretend they're light bley.

Very nice Gambort! I love the green & white. You're really becoming quite a master of these 1930s vehicles. Make sure you check Classic-Town in the morning.

Thanks guys.

I like building these 1930s vehicles. It's a very difficult era to build well and makes my life a bit hard again which is nice. The Indiana Jones sets are really nice but don't have the authenticity or scaling that I like. But they do provide good pieces :)

I love old vehicles, and this bus is pretty danged sweet. Though the wheels seem kind of small for a vehicle of this size. Are they supposed to be like that. Do you have a reference picture anywhere? Sorry, not trying to be difficult or critical. I'm just curious :classic:

You are right about the wheels. They are a bit too small. But I'm unaware of any that fit the look and size so this is my best compromise so far. Remember that these old-style wheels are the same diameter as most wheels from modern town and IJ sets.
