Due to the debate in the other toast thread see here), I've expanded the selection and included other, non-toasted items. I do encourage the "toastees" and the "anti-toastees" to debate, but let's keep it at a reasonable level. Perhaps you like something else with your toast...

I'd like to add that I'm all for toasting things but you missed out on the best ever toast-able breakfast food, POP TARTS. (maybe isn't not exotic for you but it is a rare treat for me and my dentist)

Purest toast, with Nutella/(Chocohazelnut spread of non-name brand) or Marmite. Niether need butter as they spread wonderfully. Two slices with a glass of cold water or (once a week due to allergies) a glass of orange juice.

I'm very partial to a full Irish breakfast myself - although obviously it's a treat to be had every so often (maybe a couple times a month). What's great is the café in town that has it all day on a Sunday - so you can have an Irish breakfast for lunch after church (although presumably for most of the clientele it's actually breakfast). As a student I did go through a whole semester of having fried sausages with toast most mornings... but then, I also had a different semester where I ate Coco Pops (confectionary for breakfast - how did I do it?!) and another where solely brioche and coffee was order of the day. You do these things as an undergrad... Actually brioche was reasonable enough except for using real butter - plus it's a bit sweet and expensive.

Now I usually stick to plain old cornflakes followed up most days by toast and jam.

I have recently discovered spinach, egg and tomato wraps. It is delicious. I cook the egg, wilt the spinach and chop up 2 sundried tomatoes. I was throwing some feta in it, but I am making some dietary changes and am completely off of dairy right now. Then toast it in the oven for about 5 minutes in a whole grain wrap. Otherwise I'd rather just have a toasted english muffin with some jam.
