I have been told that LDview is a very good option, when I want to save images from my ML Cad models.

However, when saving as a snapshot my LDview crashes. I am using Vista and have the latest version of LDview.

I tried allready all saving options, starting as an admin and running under win XP

Anybody got an idea ?

I personally have not used LDView, as hence I do not know of the extra benefits, if any, of using snapshot view within the program. If possible, you can always use the built in screenshot tool that comes default with Windows Vista (the "Snipping Tool") or stick with the good old "Print Screen Button + Paint" combo.

Hopefully one of these will options be viable.

I have the same setup, and it works nicely.

Reinstall of the windows would certainly help, but I guess you would not do that just for LDview.

If you are out of options you can send me the file and I will make the snapshots you desire.

Thanks for the reply. Reason to use this is that LDview shows the colors much better then ML cad does. I have other tools that I can use, so the screenshot idea is the one I allready use, but it does not give me the colors I want to see.

You are right, reinstalling seems a bit drastic. Thanks for your offer btw
