I thinking of building some big, probably a lego shed lol (not the best thing but could be fun), Where is the cheapest place to get bricks like 2 by 4. Lego seem to sell them at 12p and bricklink is around $0.01 to 0.1 but no real large quantities

If you are serious about such a project, you might try and contact Lego for a large quantity at a good price.

Bricklink is a bit cheaper, but with used ones you never know what condition you get them in..

Yeah alot of my bricks are used and well the white ones are usually rubbish

I think you are talking about Eilif's guide , though I'm not sure it would be suitable. My suggestion would be, as Captain Blue Hair said, contact Lego, and request a large quantity of them. Or, if you belong to a LUG, you could try the new LUGBulk program.

I contacted lego lol and they said they dont usually deal with such a large order lol (i asked for a price for 50K bricks lol)

Well bricks are not easy to get or cheap in large quantities for anybody, even the modelbuilders in Legoland have to special order them.

With the right connections though...

As a data point, I once ordered 2,000 heads from PAB (two separate orders of the max 999 pieces). Then PAB stopped carrying that particular head for a few weeks presumably because they were out of stock.
