woody64 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I've started to work on my 12th mold. Very proud to see some of my customizations already on the net. The most exciting onces are from Michael Evans. Check out his newest at: - Incident in Belgium: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/146669 - Esslingen: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/146074 - Black Brunswickers at the Pirates Forum: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=32592 The most interesting topic for the next strep will be to redesign the most needed items for the white and detail material, which seems to be more smooth to the viewers. Suggestions are welcome ... Woody64 Quote
Skipper 24 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Are there any pics of the gas mask on any minifigs? I would be interested to see how it looked. Quote

Sir Wellington Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Do you have a picture with the minifigures wearing the Legion of the U.S. Helmet, also have you tried using the periwig for the woman? Quote
Joey Lock Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I love the gas mask, Im going to definitely make a big WW1 MOC using these Items! Quote
woody64 Posted August 22, 2009 Author Posted August 22, 2009 Do you have a picture with the minifigures wearing the Legion of the U.S. Helmet, also have you tried using the periwig for the woman? I've tried it with a lot of my hats and it works. Pictures may be given later during that week. The female periwig had a design problem at the plug so that I can't check the correct fitting yet. Cardinal Brick Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Woody that looks great, the only thing I wonder about is if the side flaps should be a tad smaller but I can't quite decide. Quote
woody64 Posted August 28, 2009 Author Posted August 28, 2009 There are some pieces already tested with white detail: You can find a detailed look at: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=398497 The merchant hat and the medieval hat are in white detail, which results in a more smooth surface. I've also started to make sections on my shapeways account, so you can see the items fitting to different historical periods and also which of the items should be printable in white detail (but not all tested yet). http://www.shapeways.com/shops/MinifigCust...%20and%20Detail Woody64 Quote
Skipper 24 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Thanks for the pic. It looks much better than I first expected. Quote
