ED-209 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 That's cool with me too. (In fact I'd be flattered if you used any of mine! ) Quote
LuxorV Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 It's ok with me too. As long as you don't do that because you find them poor, that is! LuxorV Quote
Thrash Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 What do you mean by remaking them? Would you just convert the pixel-y decals into vector art to make them appear more smooth? ~Thrash Quote
Capt. Kirk Posted August 25, 2009 Author Posted August 25, 2009 First of all thanks guys... respect !!! As long as you don't do that because you find them poor, that is! LuxorV I have every respect for someones work and I will be the last to criticize someone in a bad way. Simply because: you do not know what someones possibilities are (financial and equipment) & criticizing someones work is easy. Therefore most of the time I say nothing. Not that I don't want to, but if English isn't your natural language it isn't always easy to express what you mean (especially on technical subjects). I could reply with good, nice, ect but those words aren't very popular with the mods. But most of the time that's all I want to say and I don't want to write a "constructive technical letter". And if someone need my help... just ask, because I visit this forum every day. Grts, Kurt What do you mean by remaking them?~Thrash Just use the decal as a base and maybe add some extras... nothing more. I will pick someones decal that already said yes and show what I mean. Adam Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 I'm not a decal maker, so I shouldn't even be posting here. But I did want to say that I think it is only right that the original decal makers be credited to some degree when their work is modified. I'm confident that this is what you intend to do, but I just wanted to make sure. Quote
