You know people say Sahmad is not from Teresa? Well before you get the wrong idea, I say I agree with that. But I have an explaination for it not to be a mistake. Facts: Sahmad is originally from the same plague-ridden tribe as Telluris, and had to flee before he too fell ill. Theory: It says he lives in Teresa because that is where he spends most of his time, fights in thier arena and maybe even keeps his loot there. This would also explain why Telluris is not mentioned as being from Teresa, as he spends his time ambushing trespassers in the desert.

Element lords. Entirely new species, correct? co-wrong. Facts: Based on elements. Control elements. Approx. height of average glatorian. Extremely powerful. Theory: Sound familiar? Yup. Toa. I think we've had Element lords since day 1. Perhaps the "2 different" species once worked together under the same name before the shattering, then forgot who they were and developed thier own names later? The Toa took up roles as heroes, while the E. lords became more fierce and, ultimately, evil.

Well, I guess the Sahmad thing is plausible, but the element lords thing is, for the most part, wrong. The Toa were the Great Being's creations, created to work inside Mata Nui and defend the Matoran. They were created after the Shattering, inside Mata Nui, and only inside Mata Nui. But their elemental powers were based on the Element Lords. So I guess you can say that they have a relation, but they are not one and the same.

(As far as I can recall, the element lords were just normal member's of the Glatorian species until the GBs decided to use them as proxies to rule over Spherus Magna.)
