jonwil Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 What parts do people here think they would order through LUGBULK if they could (restrict this to only parts that are likely to be available). Parts I would like to order: Barbed Wire Yellow antennas or lightsaber blades (or other parts) to produce fields of crops similar to those in the farm pictures in the back of various City instruction manuals. If the lightsaber blades are used, yellow 1 x 1 cones would be used to hold them up. Again yellow lightsaber blades or antennas (again with cones if using the lightsaber blades) to make the base of Australian traffic lights 1 x 1 with stud on sides (all 4 sides, 2 sides, 1 side etc) in black for the body of the traffic lights 1 x 1 round plate in trans-green, trans-red and trans-yellow for the lights 1 x 1 round plate in yellow for the top of the light New City Corner windscreens for use in building buses and bus stops Doors in trans-smoke for buses (the doors and windscreens are really the only parts of my bus design that are difficult to obtain in quantity) Possibly certain sizes of window and/or clear panel (which sizes I dont know) Quote
The Who Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I would want: --Barbed Wire. --The old pitchfork, though I don't think it is an 'active part.' --The Turkey. --Toy Story Military Helmets, after they become available in sets. --Toy Story Military fig stands, after available to public. Then again, it all depends on if the USA will get LUGBULK any time soon. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Dark Brown and Reddish Brown bricks of the 2x4, 2x2, and Sloped (regular and invert), a pile of the really large tiles, the girder parts, Trans-Orange 1x2 slopes, cheese slopes and 1x1 bricks. Dark Bley baseplates or large dark bley plates. All for my largest project. Then after that I am not sure, depends on my next planned project. Quote

The barbed wire would be a cool effect in a large amount, but there most likely won't be any of the Toy Story parts because they are licensed. All the AFOL's are going to end up with dozens of turkeys, I can see it now! Quote
Brickthing Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 All the AFOL's are going to end up with dozens of turkeys, I can see it now! It'll be raining pre-cooked giant turkeys on LUG displays everywhere! If it were possible for me to participate in a bulk order, I'd love to get plants and trees, to make abundant forests with a decent amount of wildlife. Quote

However, I'm not sure why you'd mess around with 1x1 round plates in the various colors. Those are available on BrickLink in the thousands for $.01-$.02 a piece. The antenna in yellow was last in a set in 2004, and before that, 2000, so I doubt it is currently in production. As for me, I would want: 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, and 2x2 corner bricks in dark red, dark green, dark blue, light bley, tan and any sand colors or other "dark" variants that were available. (I would wet my pants if they started making dark orange and sand red bricks again) The same again for 1x1, 1x2, 2x2, and 1x4 tiles. The same again for 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 1x8, 2x2, 2x2 corner, 2x3, and 2x4 plates. Quote

I still doubt Eurobricks meets the requirements for this, but if ... ... I´d second your fine selection: Trees, plants and stuff - who can have enough of those? Quote
marsu211 Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Well, buying a bulk would make sense if the amount can be greater than just 200 DKK (€30). I am still in need of: - Thousands of Technic Bricks 16/14/12/10/8/4 - Part 61927c01 Technic Linear Actuator with Dark Bluish Gray Ends (at least 100) - Part 64448 Support 1 x 6 x 5 Girder Rectangular (minimum 1000) Just to name a few. So, question in reply to the question, would it be possible through LUGBULK? Rgds marsu Quote

The LAs would be pretty expensive in large quantities though. Quote

Ralph_S Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 I'm going for new and rare stuff. Useful things that I cannot easily get my hands on otherwise. Think 1x1 orange plates, 1x1 orange tiles, 1x1 green tiles and orange jumper plates. I'm not going to waste the small amount of money that I can spend on this on anything I can get in sets in fairly large quantities or can buy from bricklink comparatively cheaply. Cheers, Ralph Quote
