DarthSion Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Some kids have all the luck, just found these on the SW blog, look pretty good for what they are. http://starwarsblog.starwars.com/index.php...oft-y-wing-bed/ Is loft bed the same as bunk beds?. Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Is loft bed the same as bunk beds?. Yes. Does anyone notice the lego Star Wars Poster in this picture? Quote
Oky Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 (edited) Some kids have all the luck They sure do. I would have LOVED to have such beds as a kid! Great find. Edited August 13, 2009 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Kid's beds yes, nevertheless, I would still love to have one. That would just be so funny Quote
DarthSion Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 (edited) Yeah i saw that lego poster. Well you could have a SW bed, obviously not those, maybe a tie fighter or interceptor, or if your not a stick in the mud OT fan, maybe a AT-TE or clone turbo tank. Personally id rather a house shaped like an AT-TE or AT-AT with landing pad like in RotJ. Whats the best way to change the name, maybe change it to SW fan made stuff and just post anything not lego SW in one thread, like i remember seeing a tie fighter pc moc a while ago. Mraz Skintas Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Or make a Star Wars Subforum here in the Culture an Multimedia and talk about all things Star Wars except LEGO Star Wars? Quote
Skipper 24 Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Those beds are amazing. I prefer the Y-Wing one, it even comes with it's own joystick . Quote
Oky Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I prefer the Y-Wing one, it even comes with it's own joystick . Yeah. They shoulda gone the extra step and put a screen with a game like Rogue Squadron into it, considering that they seem to be so rich. I also love how everything else in that room looks so futuristic. Darth Legolas Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 (Creak creak) AT-AT coming down! I think the Snowspeeder got it! Wait, I'm on the AT-AT, and my brothers under it! Crap! Lucky alright, lucky. :skull: Okay there's something wrong with me. Oh well, pretty cool. Also pretty weird. Quote
DarthSion Posted August 14, 2009 Author Posted August 14, 2009 Judging by the photos the AT-AT is for an only child, at least it seems that way he the boy is up there by himself with no bed on top and you see him go through a escape hatch. Quote
Cyclone Titan Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 I'm drooling as I look at these, no joke. I would love to be in that Y-Wing bed. I mean, come on! Was that one of the coolest beds you have ever seen? The aesthetics, the controls, Hell, the bed looks comfy too. I envy kids like that, I just have a standard bunker, nothing special. Being a kid who celebrated his 12th birthday in May, I can successfully say I am still young enough to be applicable for these beds, even though my dream bed would be a DeLorean with a Flux Capacitor. Ahhhhhh.... CT Quote
Captain REX Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 hmm id've chosen a x wing over a y-wing. It'd be funny is if they made a tantive IV bed with a built in escape pod. Quote
JimBee Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Is loft bed the same as bunk beds?. No. A bunk bed is two beds, one on top, on on bottom, and a loft bed is one bed on top, and nothing but extra space on the bottom. You know, for a desk or something. On topic, those kids are really lucky to have that room. Let's just hope they redecorate before they get girlfriends. Quote
DarthSion Posted August 17, 2009 Author Posted August 17, 2009 Then how is that a loft bed, the bed was on the bottom, nothing was in the top part. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Then how is that a loft bed, the bed was on the bottom, nothing was in the top part. The Y-wing was a loft bed, and the AT-AT could probably fit a mattress and you could remove the bed underneath. Quote
