need a little help

I'm in the process of building a minifig scale house. its a very ambitious project on an entire 32x32 baseplate not including yardspace and garage. i have most of the structure built but its some of the details i'm stuck on. mainly on the kitchen counters i want to recess a sink but i can't quite figure out the right way to do it. does anyone have any ideas? i know it might be tough without a pic but i lack a decent camera so hopefully somebody can imagine it for me. also if anyone has any other ideas for a basement that would be great too. if this is the wrong forum i'm sorry and someone can move it.

This would probably go better in the Trains and Town forum. Although it's debatable because you're just looking for building techniques.

I'm not sure how big it's going to be, but you could try one of this or two of these along with one of these.

As for the basement, why not add a simple water heater, and maybe a washing machine and dryer?

First off, this should definitely be in Trains and Town, but I'm sure a moderator will be along shortly to attend to that. As for interior detailing, go to this site http://www.brickshelf.com/ and put what you are looking for into the search function. Words like kitchen, Bedroom, etc, will tend to pull up alot of great pics of interior details. Best of luck with the project!
