Reviews: *Mata Nui *Vastus *Kiina *Stronius Visitor: *Skralla (MOC) Part I: Mata Nui, (Skralla's Destined Love?) *I just got him last night, finally! I've had to travel to various worlds, er...I mean stores to claim MN. Skralla was crying for him for the last few months...and now...they're united.... Chains of Love... Skralla: At last....you're mine, Mata Nui! Mata Nui: O_o? The New 09 Ignika is alright...but *whistles*, that's one chibi mask/kanohi....his Scarab Shield is great, but it could have been more of a shield, than a pitchfork? (not really...) Blue eyes...epic, they make Skralla wanna stare at him...and is it just me...or do they have similar arms/hands (not color, but pieces wise...what a coincidence! But in my epics...coincidence does not exist...only the inevitable...) Anyway...here's a comparison between him and his "alternate self"???? Toa Ignika??? Mirror Ignika Mirror Ignika 2 *That is one chibi Ignika...compared to the 08 version.... EDIT: Here's a better view of our beloved character... Front Back Side As you can see, his arms are a bit too long but if you pose them correctly, they don't look as bad. I wish he was taller too...Skralla's taller than him! D: Oh well, sounds like the Titan MN Set is the only answer to that problem...but then that would make him WAY too big... MN Pieces and Parts There are some new pieces, though two of them, while new are in two different colors. (The Scarab Shield as well as his shoulder armor) The Ankle guards shake quite a bit which is very annoying...at least they didn't fall off yet =P Part II: Stronius Stronius: If he (Mata Nui) spends time with my sister (Skralla)...I SHALL KILL HIM! Stronius Oh dear, sounds like Stronius doesn't approve their relationship....but wait until Tuma finds out...then there will be a fight.... Anyway, his club is great! But I'm kinda disappointed that it was in pieces...I didn't expect it to be built...:/, but that's alright, I guess. His helmet is kinda weird but it's not as long as an average Skrall's. (or Skralla, that is) For some reason, I thought he was "fat", but it's just the armor that makes him look so bulky... EDIT: Here's a better look at this "Special Skrall" Front Back Side At last! Darker Red! I was worried, like everyone else that the Mata Red might be repeated...but this time...it's Metru Red...(or is it even darker than that?) But that club of his makes him a threat to all...don't you play baseball with this fellow...=P =P Stronius Pieces and Parts In terms of the pieces, I think they're great. Lots of new ones as well as some recolors. Those knee pads reminds me of Hewkii Mahri's Silver Knee Pads. I like this helmet better than the average Skrall warrior's cause it's not as long. I wonder if those knee pads make a good Spiked Mace for Toa Helryx? Or would you guys rather use silver? Part III: Vastus Vastus: This is not like Tesara....where am I? Vastus Ah...Vastus, now this one of my other favorite G'Legend (besides MN), his Venom Talon is perfect for any Toa Nidhiki's Scythe MOCs. The Snake Armor/helmet makes him almost look like a creature...kinda...but not as savage like a Vorox...but the only downside to me is that...The Inika armor is backwards!!!! O_o....weird....but I guess he could get away with that. And is it just me or could he use his staff as a guitar? EDIT: More Pictures of this Prime Glatorian of Tesara! Front Back Don't make him shoot you...or else you'll end up like Fero... I say, this G'Legend is very interesting...the armor on him makes him look like....an Elemental Lord? Nah...it's probably just an illusion. Anyway, at least him and Gresh are much better off than Lewa last year...that Toa had too much grey...and he's lucky....cause he has some ability (other than MN) to use some form of "power" via his Talon, paralyzing his enemies. That's something new... Vastus Pieces and Parts Part IV: Kiina Kiina: At last! My personal exit to get out of this blasted wasteland! Kiina Skralla (to herself): I will not allow her to take him....he's mine! Mata Nui is my love! Anyway, before they start to hit each other, Kiina is another decent set. Her custom torso is not bad...much better than an Av-Matoran/Agori body. And from the attitude in those Sneak Peaks, I think she wants to get her hands on MN....not good for Skralla... Anyway, her trident is nice, very thin and sleek. And those Manta Ray Armor makes her look like a creature from the sea...in a good way...hehe....at least.... EDIT: More Pictures of this "obsessed fan of MN" Glatorian Front Back Side I swear, Kiina is probably one of the best females out of all of other female characters. Very skinny, for sure. This custom torso, for once, is a good change. I never expected this to happen...but it did...cause this is the inevitable... Kiina Pieces and Parts I like the Manta Ray design for the shoulder, knee Armor, though the problem with that is if you want her to sleep, then you'll have to take it off or else, she'll be in the "air"??? I was kinda surprised when they used Blue and Silver on Kiina's Helmet, I thought that they would leave it solid, but then again Ackar, Berix, and a few other Glatorian/Agori do have some swirly colors...so I guess that it's fine... Part V: Other Pics Here's a small set of pics that I made. And wow...I just fell out of my chair when I took a snapshot of Kiina and Skralla fighting!!! LOL!!!! :laugh: He's Mine! Kiina: He's mine! You can't have him! Skralla: His love is only for me! He's mine! Mata Nui: ..................... Kiina: Do you really wanna fight? Skralla: If that's what it takes.... *fist fight* *okay, that picture is probably the stupidest one that I've ever took..... :laugh: :laugh: *10 Minutes Later* Part VI: My Final Thoughts... *Okay...to be honest, I think these guys are the best! Although they have Inika, armor and similar pieces, who cares? At least we're lucky that Kiina has a custom body! I mean, I understand we could use new pieces, but they...they're good for other MOCs... at least what matters is that we waited 8 years to figure out who exactly was MN...(though there were clues all of this time) and another year for MN to be a "Toa." I guess that having MN as a set was the price for us...if Teridax failed to take over the MU, we would never have MN in the first place. Compensation was needed in order to make this happen.... In other words: A Mata Nui set would exist, if only he was to be exiled....that's the trade off.... Anyway, the other characters, I enjoy them. Though I wished we had some more female characters cause Kiina is all by herself... (not counting Skralla) Hopefully, I'll try to get Ackar (so he could spend time with Kiina....=P don't ask why....) and Gelu to make the complete team! Scores.... Kiina: 9/10 (A bit too skinny?) Vastus: 9.25/10 (Could have proper armor?) Stronius: 9/10 (A Special Skrall in on the loose!) MN: 9.5/10 (They could have added some gold swirl, that would be interesting...and made a few centimeters taller...) Any picture requests??? Hope this review helped anyone's decisions!! Anyway, these aren't really much in the way of reviews, just a few pictures and a short paragraph. And it doesn't help that a bunch of the stuff is from/about your fanfiction. In the future, you should make each review longer and a bit more descriptive. Breaking them down into sections like it's done in BZPower reviews should help to prompt some more description. Also, more pics, poses, and angles of the set by itself (not fighting with your MOCs or other sets) help the visual aspect a great deal. Quote

Sorry, I was a bit nervous when I made this at first...but not to worry! I shall make them longer, I'll just simply update them...with more funny pics (as well as some serious ones...).... :laugh: I'll see what I can do...after all....I never run out of ideas.... Brickthing Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 like it's done in BZPower >reviews< I think that picture of Vastus highlights one of the building problems of Vastus - The Inika armour on his chest is positioned the wrong way, meaning that the pistons on it spread out downwards instead of upwards, giving him a kind of pot-belly appearance. I'm still getting Vastus though, because the snake designs in the new molds are really cool, and the recoloured feet and mahri tube are must-haves. Quote

So hopefully, this will be better than what it was.... I will add my final thoughts to this later about the four G'Legends... Edit: Okay...I've checked...and the description matches...there's no mistake...seriously...WHAT ARE YOU GUYS THINKING??? *sigh* I guess that reviews aren't my thing...after all....I'm only a writer, an anime fan, and... *sigh* a translator... I flipped the armor around...but it looked weird (so I flipped it back)....O_o....seriously...I might revamp him if that's what all of you guys want/wish...is it? A wish that it could be granted....but alas...we have no sign of time traveling in this world...unless if Yuuko-San exists...but compensation will be required in order for the wish to come true...and it could be anything...as long as it's not too little nor too much...it could be from relationships with family/friends to precious weapons...
