Phantoka Kopaka Nuva Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I just got both sets and halve to say LOOK AT THE WEPONES. I gelu but realy Other than the weapon similarities, I don't see how Gelu can be a Nuju Hordika clone. He has no weird mask/helmet, no weird arms, and has more blues than Nuju. Quote

Guy Felton Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Yeah, the weapons look the same. Interesting, but no signifigance. Quote
Toa Velox Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 No, no, no, no, no. Gelu is in no way a Hordika clone. The Hordika were, IMO, horrible. But yet, Gelu is my favorite [tied with Ackar] Glatorian Legend. He looks good, even if he is an Inika clone [which most sets are now days]. I relate Gelu more to Tahu Nuva. Look at Tahu's Magma Blades, and Gelu's blades. They look quite alike. The only similarity between Gelu and Nuju Hordika would be the bendy weapon. Just my two cents. Quote
jala12 Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 The weapons don't look that similar. Is it only because they're blue and attached to a pole? Quote

-MZ- Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Gelu doesn't have a lot of special traits about him, but the ones he does have are really good (especially the helmet). Though really, with your logic, every light-blue and white set is a Hordika clone. The colors are similar and that's it. Quote
