Peppermint_M Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 So, I just placed my large order for most of the new Agents, the SPIII impulses and classic space logo bag on Lego.co.uk. I have entered the checkout, my information is correct. However the Lego website is telling me that I have entered the incorrect address, that the local postal authority says my address is in GWENT (a local county authority that hasn't existed for 13 years) I am unable to navigate away from this page and continue with my order, not to correct it or to accept the "correct" address. Has anyone else had this issue? How do I resolve it? Quote
user Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Huh that's strange something similar happened to me when I bought the galactic enforcer and hyperspeed pursuit but it wasn't as bad all it did was add some random numbers at the end of my address and told me that it might be the wrong address but I got my order within the week so if I were you I'd contact Customer service to see what's going on. brickzone Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I'd contact customer service. I had an order recently that appeared to be successful but I never got a confirmation email. They eventually found it when I rang about two weeks later and it had somehow gotten stripped of its date and stuck in the system. So things can go wrong. The address thing sounds like a pain - I personally like not having to worry about postcodes or "proper" addresses here in Ireland but I guess the downside is the poor folk in the back of beyond who have trouble getting things delivered at all. Plus some web forms *require* a postcode. I now put in "IRL" because NA (for non-applicable) can I have discovered, get your delivery sent to Namibia (yep, the envelope had some interesting labels and stamps on it when it arrived a couple months late). Peppermint_M Posted August 9, 2009 Author Posted August 9, 2009 Well. After two re-attempts at submitting my order, I managed to send it through the system. I did have accept that according to Lego, I live in Gwent, it will get delivered because the postcode is fine. I will await confirmation and ring customer services if I don't get an e-mail, as advised. Quote
