Erdbeereis Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 The other day I was looking at my box of leaves and thought to myself: "Ya know, I haven't see these used for much besides trees.". So I decided to change that by making a LEGO salad to go with any LEGO meal one might eat. Flickr Page Thanks! Quote
Erdbeereis Posted August 8, 2009 Author Posted August 8, 2009 Where are the tomatoes?Great job Erdy! I tried to do tomatoes, but I drew a blank. Quote
Dr Kilroy Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Nice! What are those tan bricks? Feta cheese? Now try to do a meat meal! Quote
ILikePi Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Nice idea, Erdbeereis! Are you going to make a whole series of LEGO food next? Now try to do a meat meal! I'm thinking pizza with pepperoni... Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Haha Erdbeereis! Excellent work. Add some diced bacon and you have yourself a Ceaser Salad with lettuce, parmasan cheese and croutons. Top notch stuff Ice Cream! Quote
Milan Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I want that salad with chicken breast! Great! Quote
posades Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I tried to do tomatoes, but I drew a blank. How about one of those red plume wheels? Nice! What are those tan bricks? Feta cheese? Now try to do a meat meal! My guess would be croutons, at least that was my interpretation. Nice looking salad, though the fork could use some work, looks more like a pitchfork right now. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted August 9, 2009 Author Posted August 9, 2009 Thanks guys! They are indeed croutons. Quote
Dr Kilroy Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 (edited) Thanks guys! They are indeed croutons. My guess would be croutons Thanks! That makes more sense. Otherwise, feta cheese is white. Edited August 9, 2009 by Dr Kilroy Quote
The Who Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 My only complaint is the plate is not LEGO, but it doesn't really matter that much. Good job overall, hopefully we'll see some other meals in the future. Quote

I thought keeping the plate non-LEGO would give it a better feel. And, it would take a while to make a LEGO plate and I only wanted to spend 5 minutes on this. Quote

Lasse D Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 It looks great, but I would rather have strawberry ice Quote
